Land reforms succeeded in ideological countries like India and Israel on in socialist countries because of this very reason. Land reforms have not been very successful in countries like because of domination of feudal lords. They neither create equity nor do they create equality. Those landlords get the advantage from Green revolution and make huge cultivation whose land is taken-over; this is the case in Pakistan. The land reforms in these areas will not be so good and they will not go down financially. If against the land confiscated the bonds are paid or the landowner receives a good sum in compensation then they will not lose their political power and economically they will not suffer as well.
On the other hand the land reforms which offer opportunity to undersized growers to gain the advantages of Green Revolution, the profit will spread over to common peasants. What were the roots of the farmers’ political revolt of early 1890s? Why were they unsuccessful in bringing about greater social justice for farmers and industrial workers (the Populist Party?)? Farmers faced increasing international competition during the 1890s as well as decreasing profit. The expanding railroad industry majority impacted the livelihood of farmers by charging more for transporting their products even over short distances.
In the 16th century, landlords turned the farmland into grazing and pasture land for sheep, and closed off the common land to the people of England. This was known as the Enclosure Movement. Prior to the Enclosure Movement, the townsmen depended on the common land as a place they could take hay, wood, and many necessities from, so once this area was converted into pasture land, they struggled to find a way to support their livelihood. Raising sheep did not require as many men as farming did, so the majority of townsmen lost their jobs and therefore, their source of money. The Enclosure Movement resulted in lower class having to live out on the streets of England begging for food and money.

I agree with all that you have stated above. I also found that republican agrarianism was Jefferson 's view of a nation of small family farms grouped into rural communities. Jefferson believed that a nation full of farmers, each only dependent on themselves for livelihood, would show the concern for the community good that was essential in a republic. This is exactly how it gave America uniqueness and a new destiny. I also read from the text that expansionism had a few downfalls to it.
for crops had fallen dramatically and farmers across the United States were suffering to deal with the surplus of goods. According to SNAP to Health, this Surplus Relief Corp. became known as the Agricultural Adjustment Act (AAA) of 1933. In order to formalized the distribution of goods and avoid duplicating efforts by local relief agencies, Henry Wallace, Secretary of Agriculture, created the Food Stamp Program under the presidency of Roosevelt. In a time when America was coming out of the bloodiest war that was ever fought, against themselves, The Civil War, and when America looked overseas for a new frontier with Imperialism. It is in this context that America started to grow westward with farm land and in industry with the million of workers, but America still felt growing pains. Two significant ways in which farmers and industrial workers responded to industrialization in the Gilded Age (1865-1900) were the formation of organizations to protect farmers, and the creation of labor unions and the use of strikes to protect the workers. One significant way in which farmers responded to industrialization in the Gilded Age (1865 - 1900) was the formation of organizations to protect farmers.
