Many of us question this condition that they are tired of hearing this problem in this country. I think it is the most common problem of government in our society here in the Philippines. This causes people to be very biased in how they run for political offices either for big spots such as the president and small rolls in the community. There is most likely going to be some form of corruption in any government system because someone is always trying to get ahead of the other person or they are trying to keep their powerful position; in small constituencies corruption basically runs the government as coalitions are constantly bribed and rewarded with private gains. This can occur because the coalition has a smaller amount of people and because the amount of supporters to payoff is small, more can be given to a select few who support the leader. In larger coalitions corruption is discouraged more so because of economics. Larger constituencies do not have as much money to allocate to its coalitions because the gross revenue profit take is going to be smaller. This means that even if they did try to pay off their coalition, there would not be enough money to make everyone happy.

Corruption is defined as dishonest or illegal behavior, especially by powerful people, and just like its definition, corruption and power go hand in hand. The more power a person has, generally, the easier it is for them to be corrupted. Just like in Julius Caesar where power and corruption are very prevalent, and most of the leaders in Julius Caesar became corrupted by their power, but in some rare cases leaders have avoided corruption, these people are very valuable in society, and must not be taken for granted. Just like many other leaders in Julius Caesar, Caesar was corrupted by his power.
