This article is about “Motivation, Its Types and Its Impact in Language Learning” published by two authors whom is Dr. Tengku Sepora Tengku Mahadi and Sepideh Moghaddas Jafari, PhD Student, International Journal of Business and Social Science, 2012. In this article the author’s purpose is to research the effect of motivation in the context of language. Several types of motivation were introduced in this article which is integrative, instrumental, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Motivation was identified as an energizer for accomplishing a particular purpose. As stated by Gardner‘s theory, inspiration can refer to a sort of central mental engine or energy-centre that incorporates effort, need or will (cognition) and task-enjoyment (affect). Integrative motivation defines incorporating oneself within a culture to become a part of that society. Gardner and MacIntyre (1993) has refer that this two types of motivations as motivation orientations and ordered that it relies on upon learner's orientation either profession or scholarly related instrumental or socially or culturally related integrative distinctive needs should be satisfied in Foreign Language Teaching (FLT). As stated by Ellis (1994) the best and the perfect motivation is the integrative motivation. He trusts that integrative motivation is more capable and well organized. Intrinsic motivation is the motivation which begun inside an individual while as stated by Rotter (1966)extrinsic motivation there is an expectation of reward from outside and a man is persuaded from an outside source instead of their selves. I would like to use the types of motivation that stated in the article to motivate and encourage my students so that they won’t found any difficulties to improve themselves. To achieve a good or a positive learning outcome the designed encouragements for the classroom plays an important role. I come to class with excited feeling and joy to learn and work with children and staff in this class. I dress appropriated clothes and comfort to work with children all day long. I avoid absences and spend as much as possible time in class to learn and be with children. I get used to the classroom routine schedule and ask with my colleague and teachers activities and events that occur between children that I don’t understand. I remain positive attitude in the classroom all the time.
Intrinsic motivation refers to performing an activity for it own sake and the joy received from it. Extrinsic motivation refers to performing an activity for some external reward, such as money or food. Between extrinsic and intrinsic motivation, there are five levels of motivation, differing by their level of self-determination. First is amotivation, in which an athlete has no extrinsic or intrinsic reasons for continuing their sport or activity. Next, external regulation refers to an athlete performing an activity to fulfil an external demand or for an external reward, such as a paycheck.

Teachers have the power to determine whether their classroom will be a caring atmosphere or an authoritarian environment for the students. Teachers need to curb their ego and model empathy, positive attitude, and leadership skills. She believes that if teachers use positive attitudes when dealing with difficult students, the students will respect the teacher more; therefore, the students will have better behaviors. Showing empathy toward the students will result in the student feeling like someone understands them. Creating relationships with students helps them feel safe in their environment and comfortable talking to the teacher.
In this assignment, I will be writing on how to apply the principles of pedagogy in my area of specialism. Effective teacher uses diverse teaching strategies and universal approaches that suit situations, different strategies in different grouping of learners to improve learning outcomes, There are different teaching styles that suit different learners backgrounds and ability. Teachers are ldentified in their profession as ‘learning specialist’ , and there are five principles of good pedagogy which are Motivation, Exposition, Direction of activity and Inviting imitation. Andragogy is the best approach for effective delivery and pedagogy, both approaches must be used to ensure effective delivery. The principle is the idea of the curriculum and requirement of my subject area, I adopted pedagogy and andragogy that learners will understand The word motivation preceeds teaching at all times the teacher is preparing for delivery of effective and engaging instructional process.

Research Questions From the literature review, it was established that there were several factors affecting language learning and acquisition. More specifically, it was revealed that factors such as exposure at an early age, motivation, attitudes, incentives and educational system can influence language acquisition. However, most of the research were conducted in the west and were focused on students as subjects to the study and foreigners working in the country where they need to learn the language to lengthen their range of employment opportunity.
