Introduction
Time may be described as a measure of the duration and order of events in the past, present and the future. Although every individual has 24 hours of time at his/her disposal each day, it is the effective use of time that distinguishes achievers from non-achievers in all spheres of life. (Britton & Tesser, 1991; Zimmerman, 1998). Time is precious to certain extent in Islam also prioritize time in which Muslims have to perform prayer for Allah and not to procrastinate by doing nothing.

Purpose
This quantitative research paper explores particularly on how to improve or manage time properly specifically among students in order to attain better grade. As this paper focuses more on time management, each and every student have different set of activities that they would like to fit it in based on free time that they have. Hence, the differences are meant to be embrace and celebrated as different people would do different thing. Furthermore, if students can manage their time wisely and it could help them in their studies, it is not a big deal to manage time differently.

As time is essential in college life, students also have segmented their schedule so that it is organize. This particular literature review will highlight on the distractions that endured by students towards their grades and how far could managing time wisely could affect academic performance.

In response to the problem stated, students find the initiative to play video games to reduce stress, not only that, they are the agent of socialization in which towards friends. In which they would brainwash their friends to play video games and sooner or later it would become a habit and forget to do assignments. To support this findings, (Melton, Bigham, Bland, Bird & Fairman, 2014) explains in their research that the dominant distraction is Technology as it leads the chart over everything including Watching TV. However, there must be a way to overcome this particular problem and in order to do that successful students would avoid interruptions and they know their studying goals well and the time to finish them (Miqdadi, ALMomani, T. & Elmousel, 2014). Students must set out their prioritization and be able to juggle with excessive workload in between the timeframe
Additionally, practical time management skills a lot time in which to complete all my academic tasks within a timely. Time management ability will positively decrease my research, writing, and proofreading processes as I continue in the course. Also, having an ability to connect my hourly work schedule to online assignments and study time increases the effectiveness. As final analysis I believe as a student spending twenty or more hours a week on research activities, fifty-six hours per week sleeping, eight hours eating, and twenty hours involved with leisure activities.
Although the responses differed, it quickly became clear that as students as well as active members of society we possess many devices for both work and pleasure. Powers also delves into this topic in the very first chapter as he talks about the concept of busyness. This fits into the role of technology in our lives because one reason we are so busy is all of the technology we use. The more devices we are connected to, the busier we feel we are. Although many students feel stressed out and too busy, most admitted that some of our busyness is within our control.
How good are you with scheduling ? Do you even have a planned schedule? A consistent schedule is great to have to maintain order. There are also distractions that are time consuming. As stated from the text, Is Google Making Us Stupid by Nicholas Carr he states, “If were distracted, we understand less, remember less, and learn less.” This shows when on screen time adolescents have less learning skills for the further future. Distractions take teens away from family and school work. I learned in this activity how crucial time management skills will be to my ability to complete this course successfully. The analysis from the questionnaire (Table 2) as well as keeping a record of what activities I focus on for a couple of days, opened my eyes to a few areas of improvement. From the patterns observed I could see that most of my time was taken up by work and commitments as well as procrastination. Not being able to juggle theses successful led to irritation and was unproductive. Research suggests that managing ones emotions, being self-aware and self-motivate can be factors for success for a student (Allan, 2009).

Priorities along with making commitments are also learned from participating in a extra activity. In addition to, children and/or adults who have stress may not have a productive outlet to help them become stress-free, but it has been proven that video games help relieve stress.
Time management: Time management is a very crucial component if you are willing to have a productive lifestyle. To be honest, I have always had issues with managing my time efficiently. This problem had become a huge obstacle once I got into college. Thus, attending a lecture that focuses on time management helped me a lot with this problem by introducing me to different aspects related to time management: planning, SMART goals, and important/urgent matrix. Learning to make a specific plan for my daily tasks and make a to-do list to make my day as productive as possible is something very helpful which was advised to me by the instructor of this lecture Mr. Irfan.
Many critics may argue and say that technology in education is dangerous. It can waste a students’ time by getting him or her sidetracked by distractions they find online. However when students avoid technology in education, they have to spend long hours, days, maybe even weeks searching for certain information in various different books. Students that really want to learn will force discipline upon themselves. Even if students didn’t use technology, anything could easily distract them when studying.
