WORMHOLE AND TIME-TRAVEL

ABSTRACT:
Things don’t happen in reverse? Why?
Sounds absurd - but why? Why, exactly, it is impossible to unbreak an egg? Why can’t we unmelt an ice? Similarly, why can’t we unburn the matches and unsprain the ankles? Why can’t we mix up yesterday and tomorrow? We only get older, not younger. Trees only get taller, they don’t return to acorns. Our sun only ever uses up its fuel, never returning to a cool ball of hydrogen. Time only goes in one direction but why is it impossible for us to reverse the clocks?
CONTEXT:
Like many of the stories about physics, this one starts with Isaac Newton. Newton’s laws are astonishingly successful at describing the world. They explain why apples fall from tree and why the Earth orbits the Sun. But they have an odd feature: they work just as well backwards as forwards. If an egg can break, then Newton’s law says it can unbreak.
It sounds like a simple question but to answer it, we need a deep study. Some scientist even say travelling to the past is impossible. In physics, time is described as a dimension much like length, breadth, and height. When you travel from your house to the school, you’re travelling through a direction in space, making headway in all the spatial dimensions- length, breadth and

The first problem is size. Primeval wormholes are predicted to exist on microscopic levels, at about 10Centimeters. However, as the universe expands, it is possible that some may have been stretched to larger sizes. Another problem comes from stability. The predicted Einstein-Rosen wormholes would be useless for travel because they collapse quickly. But some research found that a wormhole containing “exotic” matter could stay open and unchanging for longer periods of
And everything which is not permitted by law is forbidden. "(Rand, 8) This tunnel that he keeps in secret with International 4-8818 helps roll in the spirit of inquiry for him to continue with the science experiments and writings only to be soon caught and
The reason why time passes is because in the poem it says," It was twelve by the village clock. When Paul Revere crossed the bridge into Medford town, it was one by the village clock. When he galloped on his horse into Lexington, he saw the gilded weathercock swim in the moonlight as he passed, and the meeting-house windows, blank and bare, gaze at him with a spectral glare, as if they already stood aghast at the bloody work which they would look upon. " Henry Wadsworth Longfellow then says," Through all our history, to the last,
Modern sentencing practices are outrageous and out of control. People go to prison for 162 years for stealing a car or 25 to life just for simply making a mistake of leaving their child in the car for no longer than 20 minutes without killing or harming the child. Even the innocent get sentenced major years for crimes they didn’t even commit. Lately sentencing has been crazy, so at this point in time sentence reforming is relevant in this case. To begin with, sentence reforming needs to take place because people are getting way to many years for petty crimes they didn't commit.
In comparison, the novel The Great Gatsby shows in many ways how the past can not be repeated because; Daisy is not the same person as she was 5 years before, Daisy is married to Tom, and she also has a child to take care of. Jay Gatsby believes he can repeat the past no matter what the circumstances, even when Nick tells him different. In order for Gatsby to be able to repeat the past, everything that happened with him and Daisy would have to be perfect and exactly the same. Gatsby has been away from her for five years so, no matter how hard Gatsby or Daisy would try they could not be together the same way
The argument of daylight saving time’s worth is one that has sparked controversy all over America. Some think that daylight saving time should be eliminated because it holds no value in society; however, others believe that it does good for the citizens of earth. People keep arguing back and forth, with the help of substantial evidence from both sides, and a clear winner has not been claimed. While some may argue that daylight saving time is doing more harm than good, it is beneficial in several ways.
He buys everything he can to make the past become a reality now but even with all of his money he can’t buy the one thing he truly needs to complete the past that he once had. Gatsby in the novel says, “Can’t repeat the past?” he cried incredulously. “Why of course you can!” (Gatsby Ch. 6).
The Importance of Being On Time Respect is something that we all desire, but earning it is no easy task. One of the most respectable traits anyone can have, civilian or soldier can have is time management. When you report for duty, or be on time for your date, time management should be a must. By not managing your time well, you could disrupt not only the course of your day, but others as well. Keeping your word and showing up on time shows that you are reliable and appreciate the other person's time as well.
‘I can’t help what’s past’(132).” To “help what’s past” is precisely what Gatsby is intent on doing. This delusion of victory over time is symbolized by the fall of a clock, during his initial reunion with Daisy. The exact moment before the clock falls, Gatsby declares,“‘We’ve met before’ (86).” Gatsby proceeds to catch the clock “with trembling fingers” and place it back in its spot, literally grasping time in his hand and exerting his will over
In the novel it seems as though Gatsby is unaware that time moves forward, regardless of what happens, and that time cannot
Being on time is one of the most common things you can find in any policy that is out there, whether it is for a job, school, and even the military. Being on time is one of the simplest of things that you can do to show that you have discipline, respect, and responsibility. This can also be one of the key factors that can hinder you from you reaching your goals, and completing any task that you need to complete. Missions and operations have many moving and connecting pieces that function together as a whole depending on a time sensitive plan. Being on time is probably the most common requirement in anything that you will do in life.
Isaac Rodgers 24-Jun-15 The Importance of Being on Time and Organized For Appointments Time management is important because it shows that you care making the appointments on time. When making an appointment that is one thing that you should be aware of and an appointment is considered to be your place of duty when scheduled. The seven army values can be applied when it comes to appointments. Starting with loyalty you are saying that you are going to make it to your place of duty in return making you loyal.
Gatsby does not see things as they really are and expects them to play out exactly as he thinks they will. When Nick tells Gatsby that he can't repeat the past, Gatsby responds, "'Can't repeat the past? Why of course you can!'" (110). This delusion blinds Gatsby to what is going on right in front of him.
As one wise time traveller once said “People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually ... it 's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff” (Doctor Who S3E10). While this isn’t the most eloquent or scientific quote, it makes the audience think about how they view time and their life. While today society accepts time as a linear concept, this was not always the norm. William Shakespeare lived in an era of change and revolution.
From there you may walk into it and go back to the first point. Although wormholes and manned light travel is all a theory, it could be a possibility in the future. A lot of popular science fiction that portrays time travel, shows us that people can just get into a machine, and travel forward or backward in time. If only it was as easy as it seems, we would have people going wherever they wanted, or rather, whenever they wanted.
Time management: Time management is a very crucial component if you are willing to have a productive lifestyle. To be honest, I have always had issues with managing my time efficiently. This problem had become a huge obstacle once I got into college. Thus, attending a lecture that focuses on time management helped me a lot with this problem by introducing me to different aspects related to time management: planning, SMART goals, and important/urgent matrix. Learning to make a specific plan for my daily tasks and make a to-do list to make my day as productive as possible is something very helpful which was advised to me by the instructor of this lecture Mr. Irfan.
