Essay On Electric Current

In order for you to understand my example of electrical current let me first explain to you what electrical current is. Electrical current is a form of energy that has been used over the past decades in order to provide power to residents. Though people believe that Benjamin Franklin discovered electricity with his key experiment, he didn’t he just proved that there is a flow of electrical energy. The first person that actually created a steady flow of electrical charge was Italian physicist Alessandro Volta who discovered the particular chemical reaction that could produce electricity and later on in the 1800 he constructed the voltaic pile which produced a steady electric current. Years after in 1831 Michael Faraday created the electric dynamo …show more content…

You will also need to know the terms parallel circuits and series circuits. Parallel circuits means if more then one components are connected in parallel they have the same potential difference across their ends, and series circuits have only one path in which its current can flow. Now that you know a little bit of the history of currents I can now explain to you the physics in our AP Physics Christmas Light Show.
Physics, you may think of this subject boring or hard, but when you get to learn the subject you’ll find out that most of our daily activity involve physics one way or another. Like our Christmas Light Show in order for us to accomplish our goal in creating a light show for the Christmas Talent Show we had to learn how to mange the currents in the Christmas lights in order to design the patterns, but before messing around with the lights we had to gather all the materials for the show which where batteries, Christmas lights, electrical tape, cardboard, and wire cutters. The batteries will act as the main power source in our experiment which is sending a direct current because the batteries are sending
