The way that you may identify an Islamic architecture is by the elements. Examples of these elements are the following:

• Minarets or towers
In the past the minarets were used to as light to direct the travelers. That’s why the researcher called them minarets. Also they were used for announcing the important things from the government. Calligraphy is science and art because the Calligrapher doesn’t just write but he puts his soul and his imagination and his art in each character. The development of Islamic calligraphy is strongly tied to the Qur'an. At the beginning the Qur’an calligrapher used the bones of camels and palm leaves to write on them. Then they started to write on the Mushaf. There is no calligraphy in the human history get greatness and care as much as the Islamic calligraphy. In Islamic architecture different kinds of materials has been used. like stone and brick burned, marble, porcelain , wood, iron and copper. The lime was used in the part of the buildings that need to be water resistant like selling’s, canals, and drains. They were using a mixture of gypsum and lime in burned brick industry. There is different foundation depth from the ground by the building. In some large buildings it could reach to ten meters below ground level.
