In Cambodia women represent 51% of the country's population, however, their ability to take part in social, political, and economic life are strictly controlled. For the reason that the traditional norms in Cambodia value women less than men and continuing gender power inequities that lead to poverty, illiteracy, gender discrimination, inequities in sexual and reproductive health, and other barriers that inhibit women from successfully contributing to Cambodia development. Therefore, Cambodia cares is focused on women’s empowerment focuses on the two-key area which are: sexual and reproductive health, increasing female basic rights, security, and promoting through education. This generation of youth has started grown up with new ways of collecting and distributing information. Therefore, with our organization, we are promoting adolescent sexual health by take advantage of the technologies available and to using online network that is flourishing in Cambodia to improve access to services and connect sexual health information to the youth. As a result, we will create campaigns that will be displayed on social media; we will also have other campaigns that focus on: create a sexual health text messaging service, that will deliver basic and specific facts about sexual health and relationships, as well as recommendations clinical that specialize in adolescent health. The service will have feature for youth who can text words such as gonorrhea, STI, STD, or questions such as what to do if your condom broke or I haven’t got my period this month. They will receive a text message answer back in five to ten minutes from a specialize.
