Energy resources can be considered as the base of socioeconomic development of all the countries in the world. Energy is used in all sectors weather it industrial or agriculture. Electricity is considered as a basis necessity in today’s world and it has no other substitute. At the time of separation from India Pakistan had a population of 32.5 million and it was the 13th most populated country in the world at that time. But now Pakistan is sixth most populous country in the world which has a population of 162 million. There has been a massive increase in power demand due to this increase in population and this demand of power is growing day by day. There is a lot corruption in WAPDA. Its employees are very corrupt and their recruitment is made on political liking or disliking. There is no concept of merit. Free units are given to the employees of WAPDA and sometimes they do not even have to pay the bills of electricity. Apart from this there are few cases like the rental power projects in which billions of corruption has been made by the politicians and bureaucrats. This corruption and lack of transparency in the projects is also a big cause of these energy crises in Pakistan. According to the survey conduct by the Transparency International in 2006, Pakistan’s energy production department is the second most corrupt institution of Pakistan and this corruption has increased hundred times in the last seven years. Instead of making new policy government should make some effort to control this
The state government's approach on Australia’s energy policy has provoked much debate in recent media. The Australian opinion piece, titled ‘Energy policy has become a racket and the madness must stop’ (November 7, 2016) was written by an Australian economist, Judith Sloan, in response to this debate. Sloan presents a mocking and skeptical tone where she argues that ‘it’s time for the federal government to intervene to stop this madness’. She attacks the Australian state governments by portraying its management techniques which are contrary to her ideals as foolish, uncaring and deceitful. This creates distrust of this section of the government in the audience and further supports her view by using evidence and appeals to hip pocket nerve to gain approval of ‘the Australian taxpayer’.
There have been many attempts to put an end to police corruption, with no real success. An attempt to eliminate corruption, by increasing salaries, more training, incentive for education, and the development of policies that focus directly on factors leading to corruption. Despite many efforts by the police departments to control corruption, it still exists. Police corruption has a very long standing history. Controlling corruption has to come from both the police department and the assistance and support of local community members.
There is most likely going to be some form of corruption in any government system because someone is always trying to get ahead of the other person or they are trying to keep their powerful position; in small constituencies corruption basically runs the government as coalitions are constantly bribed and rewarded with private gains. This can occur because the coalition has a smaller amount of people and because the amount of supporters to payoff is small, more can be given to a select few who support the leader. In larger coalitions corruption is discouraged more so because of economics. Larger constituencies do not have as much money to allocate to its coalitions because the gross revenue profit take is going to be smaller. This means that even if they did try to pay off their coalition, there would not be enough money to make everyone happy.
Federalism is a political notion where a group of individuals are joined together by contract with a leading spokesperson, to initiate a system of government in which independence is constitutionally divided between a dominant governing power and essential political components, such as states and localities. When involving federalism with federal policies, there is a struggle when determining how much control the federal government has over the states and how much both the federal and state governments have control over local administrations. In this particular essay I will demonstrate the Federal Energy Policy and how it raises issues of federalism, along with the pros and cons that surround the policy. The Federal Energy Policy is a policy that was determined by federal, state, and local units to tackle issues of energy production, energy distribution, and the utilization of energy.
Corruption can be a very surreptitious and overwhelming thing, but unfortunately it’s everywhere. Power can corrupt by putting fear

In this essay, I will argue that the environmental and energy crisis of the 1970s, did usher in a period of decline in the United States. The beginning of the 1970’s was an era, where Americans were under-siege with energy and environmental decline. In the early 1970’s the United States oil consumption was at an all-time high, while the domestic oil production was declining. Foreign dependence was steadily rising.
are pay, accountability, and lax management. You may be wondering how does pay or salary lead to corruption of a police department, the answer is simple. Police officers don’t make a lot of money, so when Death Row Records offered some of L.A.P.D. officers an off-duty security job, some jumped at the opportunity. I believe that some of the officers didn’t intend to be corrupt but slowly let the extra money get to them. The second thing that led to corruption was the lack of accountability.
With enhancement in technology, the distraction of the media, and the lack of discipline of oneself has made students think of easier solutions to their problems. Instead of studying for long hours as our ancestors have done, we choose to satisfy ourselves with social entertainment and other fun activities then look for easy ways out when it comes to tests or final exams by taking drugs. On the other hand the fast lifestyle we have in today’s society also impacts our way of learning with limited number of hours to focus on school which are taken by work, family, and other personal issues. Students do not have much time to study the large quantity of materials that’s presented by difficult courses which causes frustration and impatience. The demand on need of different solutions is increasing and supply of that demand is pointed in the same

The history of Pakistan and other countries show that manipulators take actions in the name of a state or/and people to serve their personal interests. They make non-issues as national issues to divert the attention from the real
Introduction In today’s world, most developing countries are in a race to build up the necessary infrastructure to scale up there operations and become the next global superpower. In this process, a lot of energy is consumed – be it for transportation, manufacturing or construction. This rapid growth of energy use seen over the past two decades have raised concerns for governments and energy-related organizations alike. Questions with regard to the supply, sustainability and exhaustion of energy sources abound, and while most developed countries have taken active steps to reduce consumption of scarce resources, the position of developing countries in this regard is still lacking.
Pakistan is in serious danger because these problems are common here and with our internal and external enemies waiting to pound, the volcano can burst open any time causing the people and economy to suffer
Several studies have been done to identify problems that affects student’s academic performance. The students’ academic performance depends on a number of socio-economic factors like students’ presence of trained teacher in school, teacher-student ratio, attendance in the class, sex of the student, family income, mother’s and father’s education, , and distance of schools (Amitava Raychaudhuri,
