Segmentation criteria for different potential market are criteria when company realize that they cannot reach all consumers with the same products. In order to maximize the profits, the company will market particular goods towards particular consumers. Market segmentation is when market is dividing into smaller groups with distinct needs, behaviours or characteristics that might require separate marketing strategies or mixes (Armstrong & Kotler).

The new energy drinks company position itself to be competitive in the drink industry by producing this products in terms of ingredients, I will invent the energy drinks with all natural ingredients which is safe for the consumers. In this energy drinks, there will be no caffeine so the consumers will free from having headache when consume this drinks. There will be no sugar added in this energy drinks and the sweeteners will comes from the fruits. There will be more flavours that will be invented to make the consumers more choices to buy. In terms of shipping, there will be low cost of shipping so this will give the cheaper price than red bull drink. The price will be maintained cheap so it will make the buyers more affordable to buy my products and I also will open a new base on different units for its cheaper price.
