When reading a book in English class at any age… I have never liked it. Growing up I did not like reading. I knew how to do it and I thought that was good enough, I never had a book that I’d still think about certain scenes from the book and actually see something similar happen in real life and be able to know somewhat of what’s going on. When I had read the book Tuesdays with Morrie, at first I was just reading it, but the more into the book we got, as a class, I started understanding it too. Tuesdays with Morrie “hit me” a little harder than the rest of the books I have read because of the way Morrie viewed everything, he was like an old, white, funny, monk.
