Even though English language is widely spoken in Malaysia, but there is some problem that existed towards ESL learners. In general, both of these journal articles are mainly about the anxiety towards English learners in Malaysians. Hence, these studies are significant relationship of anxiety in learning English language. Thus, it also focused on the reason of studying English language as a second language among Malaysian students. Most of students have their own agenda or goals that need to be achieved. For example, some of my classmates are too anxious to speak regarding lack of vocab and pronunciation. In this journal, the consequences of anxiety towards attitude and motivation are negative. Higher anxiety causes of negative attitude and decrease the level of motivation. I would agree with the consequences of higher anxiety which is debilitative. Regarding this matter, debilitative anxiety has in impact towards attitude and motivation. From my viewing in this journal, the higher negative anxiety can make the level of motivation decrease and negative attitude. The negative anxiety was develop regarding the fear of students when they are taking the test of English language. Hence, in my experienced I face the negative anxiety because I cannot control myself when speaking unless I have prepared well. I feel the nervousness when it comes out to speaking task. However, attitudes and motivations have significant relationships towards students which is the higher positive attitude can cause the higher motivation because the students realized the importance of English language and motivated to learn by their self-confidence. In this journal, the researchers stated the research questionnaire, which are what is the level of Malaysian ESL students’ anxiety towards speaking in English and taking a speaking test in English?, what is the relationship between speaking anxiety and speaking test anxiety, and what is the difference between male and female students’ levels of anxiety towards speaking in English and taking a speaking test in English. The participants of this research are 700 undergraduates students of University of Putra Malaysia. The researchers collect the data or information through questionnaire. The researchers also stated the findings regarding this matter. First, most of Malaysian ESL students had a medium level of anxiety towards speaking in English, as for test-taking anxiety, majority of students in medium level. Next, the findings also came out that there is strong significant relationship between anxiety towards speaking in English and anxiety towards taking a speaking test in English were increase. In the English learning literature, the development of a positive attitude towards learning could be attributed to Integrativeness, or the genuine desire to learn a new language so that one can communicate with the members of the community who use the language as their medium of communication (Dörnyei, 1998).
