2.1.4 Determinant of Entrepreneurship Past research on entrepreneurship predominantly centres on entrepreneurial motivations; it was accepted that the entrepreneurial panache, risks taking proclivities and the craving to create a business were intrinsic in the individual. This motivation was referred to variously in the literature by Schumpeter (1934) as an innovative drive, McLelland (1961) as a ‘need for achievement’, and Rotter (1954) as ‘locus of control’. Entrepreneurship can be expressed in a number of contexts, for instance it can be studied based on its definition as the establishment of new firms (Bull et al., 1995; Low & MacMillan, 1988) but this limits the study to business start-ups and their early growth. Likewise, acquiring a franchise or an existing venture or firm can be regarded as entrepreneurship (Gartner, 1984). It can also be based on Schumpeter’s (1934) and Baumol’s (1990) process-driven view secured in time and space specificity. Yeung (2002, p.37) adopted this framework by envisaging that entrepreneurship involves taking risks to establish, integrate and sustain operations and stresses that ‘an entrepreneur may not forever be an entrepreneur because he or she may lose entrepreneurship over time or in different

One unique thing in my writing process is the amount of time on proofreading that I spend on proofreading because it is more than the time that used in any other part of the writing process. Generally, I do not pay attention to spelling and grammar when I compose essays; thus, my first drafts typically contain abundant spelling and grammar mistakes no matter writing in English or my mother language. Due to this behavior, I rely on some online spelling check tools to ensure the readability of my writing assignments. One of my unique needs as I begin a writing assignment is that I prefer to write in the late night. I find that quality and of essays that I composed at midnight are better than any paper that I created in the daytime.

This study incorporated two experiments in order to fully analyze the use of an infant’s vision field. The first part explored what spatial range infants see in each posture. The participants included 30 infants aged 13 months.
Causality, Cause and Effect Lately, I’ve realized that I am so afraid of failure that I don’t try, or quit, if I feel that I won’t reach my own expectations. This hit home last Friday when I made a B on my physiology exam; I came home crying and wanting to quit the class. My husband kept staring at me like I was crazy and my son responded with “Good thing you don’t have my grades; we would have to hide the gun.”. I wanted to quit over a B, I might have overacted just a little. So, I mapped out all the possible causes to find out why I am so afraid to fail.

We live in a world of signs, and it is through the interpretation of these signs that we learn to understand our place in the natural world and in our various communities and cultures. When we get right down to it, interpretation is the basis of human survival in a world that will control and direct (or destroy) us unless we discover how to redirect outside forces to our advantage. And the only tool we have in this regard is language. As we’ve discovered in our first essay assignment, our own experiences can be presented through the narrative/exploratory form to show the reader a personal story in such a way that it becomes an exercise in interpretation that redirects the story’s personal energy to a more universal understanding, e.g.,
