The principle reason that motivated me to pursue the MSc Project Management course is the appeal and challenge Project Managers experience in delivering assignments they undertake in their career. The qualification, indeed, lead to very smart and modern careers for graduates who love challenges, creativity, leadership and success. As a graduate of Mathematics, I have cultivated these features in my student life. Now, for my master level of study, I would like to take my chance of attaining formal skills in the area of project management. From my research, I see that Project Management is the application of skills, knowledge and techniques to meet the objectives of a project and stake holder’s expectations.
This role and the past roles that I have held have required me to implement and develop leadership and management skills. I have been responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Information Technology (IT) activities, in addition to being responsible and accountable for a team of individuals. I am pursuing a formal business education in order to complement my technical background with the necessary knowledge and tools to lead an innovative technological company to success. I strongly believe that pursuing a PGD at the Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL) will surely make a strong contribution to my career advancement. The attraction of artificial intelligence for me lies in its breadth of applicability, both as a method of problem solving in itself and in a symbiotic integration with other areas of computer science. A broad spectrum of applications exist within the artificial intelligence field, ranging from intelligent non-player controlled characters in computer game software to a ubiquitous computing solution that intelligently reacts to a variety of users.
