The final sort of impacts stressed in this article are the tourist activities. Snorkelling, hiking and diving are very common tourist activities. However they might not seem to cause much damage, they actually do. Snorkelling and diving are very appealing when it comes to the market of souvenirs for as well individuals as companies. Hiking tourist harm the ecosystem by trampling the area and littering the vegetation. As said before the waste a water is a large problem among popular destinations this problem is also caused by recreational boating. Tourist activities as an environmental impact is a cumulative problem, as one tourist might not give a problem, more tourists however cause a unceasing problem.

An important factor in this process is that this education has to take place in the environment where the situations occur. Before and during this education, questions should be answered like; How can the current tourism situation be adapted to attract a new kind of tourist? Or In what way does education help tourism in general? These questions and specifically the answers can also be transferred to the tourists themselves and the destination where they come from.
