Environmental Impacts Of Environmental Pollution

Environmental pollution is a wide-reaching problem and it is likely to influence the health of human populations in a great way. The affects of environmental pollution in the perspective of air pollution, water and land/ soil waste pollution on human by diseases and problems, animals and trees/ plants. These kinds of pollutions are not only seriously affecting the human by diseases and problems but also the animals and trees/ plants.[1]

One could claim that air pollution started when humans began burning fuels. In other words, all man-made (anthropogenic) emissions into the air can be called air pollution, because they alter the chemical composition of the natural atmosphere. The increase in the global concentrations of greenhouse gases CO2 , CH4 , and N2 O (shown in Table 1), can be called air pollution.[2]
Air pollutants generated by cement manufacturing processes mainly consist of alkaline particles raw materials and finished products. The direct effects of cement dust pollution are alkalizing ecosystem and changing the chemical composition of soils (Mandre, 1995). The main affect of the activity of cement in the environment are emissions of dust and gases. The particulate pollutants can enter the dry, wet soil or hidden deposits and can undermine their physico-chemical properties (Laj and Sellegri, 2003). Therefore, contamination of cement powder has a negative effect on the physico-chemical properties and soil biological activity.[3]

Cement production is a major
