2.0 Royal Engineers Regiment (RER)
2.1 Royal Engineers Regiment (RER) was established on 22 April 1953 as part of the Army of Malaya. It is a combat support arm and its main role is to help the Army to fight, move and live. There usually is an officer of engineers at all levels of command to advise the commander on the engineering requirements for any combat situation and to put this work force. In any case, the operation involves a male engineer, materials, money, transportation, equipment and time (Headquarters of the Army, 1986). RER also involved in the development of the country with the participation of troops carrying out construction projects of basic infrastructure to the people, especially in rural areas

It would warrant work to be done will not affect the operation and duty to state, one element of which is emphasized in terms of ergonomics. Ergonomics is a discipline for studying human nature in producing designs according to the life and work environment. The development of ergonomic various fields of human life. The relationship between ergonomics and job performance is very relevant. Ergonomic said as a discipline, it is a science that studied in enhancing comfort, satisfaction, safety in low productivity
According to the International Labour Organization (ILO) (1986), the term 'ergonomic' means biological sciences relating to human engineering science among workers to work environment. It is a science that studies the effects of work on physical and mental health caused by work that exceeds the capabilities of the human biological system. According to Sanders and McCormick although the two terms are different in terms, but in practical terms it is a synonym. In addition, according to MacLeod, another term that is synonymous with ergonomics and commonly used includes human-machine systems (man-machine system), human system interface (human-system interface) and human factors engineering (human factors

Whereas the International Ergonomics Association defines ergonomics as methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and overall performance while working. Various definitions of various fields give a definition relatively different, but the goal is still the same and its importance. Bailey (1982) said ergonomics or human factors engineering is a field that very important to ensure the safety and comfort of workers guaranteed in the employment sector. Ergonomic issue is no longer a new thing to say because it's has started from the days of World War II, when scientists and engineers analyzing the limits of human ability in designing and military equipment for the purposes of war. It is evident that the importance of ergonomics include wider field and is very important to get the performance and ensure safety and improved comfort for the people involved.
According to NIOSH in the manual for Occupational Safety and Health Officer Volume 3, ergonomic objective is to increase the level of effective and efficient work or any activity undertaken as reduce errors, increase productivity and facilitate the work. It also tries to increase positive human values such as, improve safety, reduce fatigue, and improve comfort and quality of

THE PROFESSION OF ARMS The Army White Paper, the Profession of Arms, is a response to the Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff as to what TRADOC thinks the Army Profession is and takes a closer look at the “Profession of Arms” is and what responsibilities it entails. The paper is divided into five sections which include the army as the profession of arms, the army’s professional culture, the army ethic, the army ethic and external relations, the conclusion and follow on for future work (Army, 2010, p. 1-18). First, the paper begins by trying to define what the profession of arms means how that can be applied to the Army.
A Profession of Arms is an experience a person can’t truly understand if they never served in any type of militarize organization. Those who served must understand the culture, the history and they always have a reason why they volunteered. They must follow a certain code of conduct and discipline which often make them look or behave differently among others. I joined the Army for the transformation and to do something different comparing the friends that I grew up with. When I graduated from Basic and AIT my friends noticed the changes that occurred in my life when I returned home.
[A HEAD] Health and safety legislation 1 [DF] The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 is known as an “umbrella act”. [PIC REF ATP.13] Whatever sort of business you are, there is always the possibility of an accident or damage to someone's health. All work exposes people to hazards, be they: loads which have to be manually handled; dangerous machinery; toxic substances; electricity; working with display screen equipment or even psychological hazards such as stress. Attention to health and safety is not just about being socially responsible.
Appropriate and safe working equipment ? A safe place to work ? Safe systems of work to help prevent ill health and accidents and policies and procedures ? A system to discuss matters of health and safety with employees. Other workers/colleagues

Jeffrey Eubanks J17002346 February 7, 2018 Physical Therapy Physical therapy is a career that will always be needed throughout society; it helps the human body rebuild physical function in people that have been injured, have birth defects, or any other reasons. People who have been in accidents or have disabling conditions such as low-back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries and cerebral palsy turn to physical therapists, commonly called PTs, for help. These health care professionals use an assortment of techniques, called modalities, to reestablish function, improve movement, relieve pain and avoid or limit lasting physical disabilities in their patients. There are certain education requirements to become one, just like
It is like the wrist-strap, because it will stop any electronic charge from getting closer to your body. Many companies have these for their employees so that they can make sure that they are safe when working with electronics. Fire and Firefighting equipment: the fire and firefighting equipment are important to have when you are working with electronics, as people know faulty electronic products cause many fires. Having things like a fire extinguisher, fire exits, fire hoses, are necessary when working in a workplace you usually have a fire safety zone where an alarm rings, employees working in those workplace should always leave and get to a safety zone so they are out of harm ways. First aid training: first aid training is very important when working in a company because it shows the difference between knowing what to do and what not to do can be the difference between saving a life.
o Employers must ensure all work equipment is suitable for the intended use and is only used by employees, with the correct training. o Employers must follow manufacturer’s instructions. o Suitable health and safety measures should be put in place ( e.g. warning signs).
The same virtues that Aristotle argued are also applied to the professional and social life of engineers. This paper argues that the virtues of courage, honesty and fairness are constantly invoked by the golden rule mean in the field of engineering. To provide an example as a student, these traits have yet to be achieved. In fact, they may take a lifelong experience and habituation to reach them. On the other hand, patience and perseverance are two excellences that have been achieved and can be pertinent to accomplishing the foregoing
Accessibility is a concept that essentially applies to the customization of products, services, appliances and environments in a way that enables them to be used by people who have various types of disabilities. Effectively speaking, these products and services are designed in such a manner that enables people with special needs to gain both ‘direct’ as well as ‘indirect’ access to them. At the same time, the benefits of accessibility also extend to a wider category of individuals such as senior citizens and medical patients. Assistive technology is a term that is closely associated with the concept of accessibility. For instance, the application of assistive technology is what makes electronic equipment such as computer screen readers accessible to all categories of end users, including those with disabilities or special needs.
