I have set an example for my class by aiding with the pep rally-as well as participating in it- and helping to organize the Sophomore Semi. Being able to lead in these activities gave me a
I would like to continue my education at Cal State La to pursue my post baccalaureate study and earn a teacher credential in mild to moderate disabilities. Becoming a teacher has always been a goal of mine, since I was young girl. I always known I wanted to become a teacher thanks to all the great teachers I had through my education in elementary and high school, who inspired me and pushed me to work hard because they cared. But, most importantly showed me how a teacher should teach and care for their students, making my experiences in school deeply meaningful. And because of all the great support they gave me I fell in love with the profession of teaching.
I know she will take the advice I give her and carry the lessons i’ve taught her all throughout the rest of her years in school. After I graduate and go through college, I plan to still make an impact at the middle school. I plan to be a special education teacher and want to return to Sacopee Valley to teach. I would like to say that I am making a difference with my career. It would be even better to make a difference in my own community.

Often, they promote fundraisers and school-wide events to raise money needed to make these specific changes. To participate in high school student government, a large amount of prior leadership experience and creativity is needed. Through advisory and prior experience of high school life, incoming freshmen are given an abundance of advice and aid. Peer counselors are not required to, but should have a great sense of the meaning of leadership.
Through my experience as a Peer Academic Leader, I was able to hold two counseling sessions with each student per semester to provide myself as a resource. I learned how to adapt to the individual needs of students to provide them the best education. Like students with a communication disorder, many of my students would shy away from activities or tasks because of obstacles. Through these experiences, I watched my students gain the confidence to participate in activities and excel in academics to become successful individuals. As a future Speech Language Pathologist, many qualities that I possess can be improved by furthering my education.
The clubs provide many opportunities including meeting new students, learn from others, and exploring things. I become a better communicator through presentations, speeches, and conversations in these experiences. The clubs help me to learn how to manage my time and to be connected to students and even the world. In addition, during my senior year, the International Club elected me as their President. As President, I became more adept at thinking, helping, and working which helped grow my leadership skills.
