I am Passionate about a career in pediatrics. My ultimate life ambition is to become a remarkable and respected physician.

I was born in the small farming community of Rose Hall, in my home country St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I was a middle child, an avid reader and self-motivated. My early upbringing was in a village where everybody knew one another and cultivated genuine community spirit. At the age of eleven, I relocated to our capital, Kingstown, to attend one of the top high schools in my country. Consequently, I spent the majority of each year away from my family. Despite this sudden change and the uncertainties that shadowed it, I was blessed with various life impacting opportunities that I would not have gained in a school in my rural district. Nevertheless, I believe I still have a lot to accomplish as well as to contribute. I now find myself ready to embark on the next phase of my professional career. I therefore, look forward to another opportunity where I can optimize my learning experience and broaden my knowledge base, so I can better serve my patients and define my place in the medical world. I am a driven and pleasant person that easily establishes a good rapport with others. I work well both within the group and individual settings. I eagerly anticipate being a part of your residency program, which I am confident will hone my already acquired skills and allows ample room for further professional and personal development. My career ambitions are towards either general pediatrics or pediatric oncology. Equally, my overall aspiration is to evolve into a well-rounded and honorable medical professional. I believe my residency training will not only add to my clinical experience but will also assist me in realizing this
