Christmas Day has always been a big tradition in my family. Every year, on the first of December, we haul out all of the Christmas decorations, erect the tree and decorate it with tinsel, boar balls and of course the star which will go on top. We then go around the house and place Christmas related objects (candles, or games, teddies etc) all around the areas in which are socially concerned. An example would be the lounge and bar area. It 's always great fun. The tradition is that, whenever this is happening, we listen to Christmas music as we put everything up and go about our decorating.

The last 10 nights of Ramadan is where the Muslims seek to have their prayers answered. They believe it was during this time that Allah sent the Angel Gabriel to Prophet Mohammed and the first versus of the Quran was revealed. A 3 day holiday called “Eid” marks the end of Ramadan. During this time children are likely to receive gifts such as money and clothes. These 3 days are spent with the family and eating resumes back to normal. (4)
From my research I have seen that Ramadan is a very family orientated and peaceful time. Where you give thanks to your creator. What is great is that you don 't need to be alone during this time. The purpose of meeting in the mosque daily is so that you can feel a part of the community and persevere through, what I can imagine is quite a challenging time, with the help and support of all your family and friends. Physiologically I can imagine this may be one of the reasons for the success of Ramadan. You’re not alone.
A nice thing about Christmas is that during this time, even if you do not celebrate the occasion, in general everyone supports each other. The shopping malls become festive. Pupils show their appreciation of their teachers. I always feel that the closer we get to Christmas the more unity is felt amongst the community. Christmas time is one of the only times every year that my dad’s side of the family gets together to relax, exchange gifts, and eat pistachios. The pistachio nut is a staple element of this Christmas time reunion. Hundreds of pistachios and empty shells cover just about every household surface during Christmas time. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas The Grinch who stole Christmas is one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books and one of my favorite Christmas movies. I found 3 things similar to one another in the book and the movie which had the Grinch who hated Christmas, the Who’s who loved Christmas, and the Grinch stole all of the presents and food. One identical thing I found in the movie and book was that the Grinch hated Christmas. If they didn’t put the Grinch’s hate for Christmas in both the book and, he would have no reason to steal Christmas and it wouldn’t have been a very good movie.

In the movie and the book they had the same types of lessons learned. The difference is that in the movie Scrooge had a dog while in the book, it never mentions that Scrooge had a dog.
One example is the traditional holiday Christmas, that is celebrated here in the United States. When it comes to Christmas in our household, it is all automatic. After Thanksgiving, we unpack our decorations and wipe away the thin layers of dust. My husband always assembles the faux tree, and then we all dig in the giant box of ornaments to embellish the tree. The sound of birds chirping garishly outside my window, wakens me from a deep slumber. Opening my eyes, I see the morning sun’s rays illuminating my room. I’m longing for sleep to engulf me back into its warm embrace. My father ruins any hope of going back to sleep as he hollers upstairs that breakfast is ready. Standing up and doing a morning stretch is when I first smell it.
Relationships are always progressing and never stable at any point in life. For example, relationships can be like a roller coaster, you never know which way relationships can end up. Relationships of all types can vary such as sibling relationships, couples, parent to child, and many more that can show any sort of relation to an individual. There are many factors that can help with maintaining a successful relationship(s). Five characteristics that can primarily take a role in any relationship to be successful would be dialogue,acceptance,self disclosure,recognition, and rituals.
I come from the Muslim culture and will share some of the cultural characteristics. Traditions: Most important one is prayer. We have to pray 5 times a day and read the Holy Quran. We have to fast a whole month during Ramadhan and go for Pilgrimage at least once in a lifetime.
