Above, I have listed a few of my family values. We have many more, but I simply listed a few important values. Discussing our family values with my mom, I analyzed the importance of each value and how each family value has in some way influenced the way I am today. Now looking at my family values written, I can see how my family values have affected every day of my life and I am beginning to understand the true importance of my family values. We have taught each other to stand for one another; for family; for friends; for people we don’t even know. I don’t exactly know why we value selflessness and bravery (maybe in the future I will), however, I believe it connects with our value to kindness, compassion, and empathy. Being kind and compassionate includes being there and standing up for others. Lastly, our family, above all, values each other and close friends. Through the hardships, it’s your family that stands along with you; it’s your friends that support you. Family and friends are a gift were appreciate every single day. Without my family and friends, I highly doubt I would have any of these values. Without my family, I wouldn’t be who I am today. We value each other, because we all show love to each other, care for one another, and support one another no matter what. A family stays with you and I have learned how important they are to me.
