1. It can be expensive
The cost depends on what kind of gap year you take, if you choose to find a job and earn money, then that is not going to be a problem. If you choose to learn doing business, then you might success and make fortune or you might fail and lose all of your money. You may want to go travel, but where is the money from? The best way to fund a gap year is to work while traveling.
2. You will be homesick
Doing a gap year means you probably have to stay away from your family for a long time. In this period of time, you must and have to depend on yourself. You may find yourself wondering why you choose a life on the road. But do not fear, that is what everyone has to experience.
3. You are no longer a student
As long as the decision of taking a Gap Year is made, you are no longer a student who sit in the classroom and learn new knowledge. It’s pretty a big deal to move from classroom to real world.
