During school many students tend to stop paying attention to the lesson being taught. Their minds start to wonder and they don’t take in all of the information that is being taught. When told to ask questions if they don’t understand, they don’t ask questions. Homework has been the bane of many a students existence for the past years, as countless think it’s unimportant. Restless nights of practicing equations and writing paragraphs are known by all children, especially within high school. Contrary to belief, homework benefits the average student so much more than people care to acknowledge. It conditions the minds of our children to think independently and become familiar with the knowledge they’ve gained. An average student would spend hours on schoolwork a day, which can be very stressful. A high school student will use half of their day around school relation. Almost all elementary to high school students will likely to agree that homework should not be assigned. The majority of students complain about homework yet teachers don’t usually understand why. Another reason is fitting school into students ' schedules. Some people are lucky to go to school and be carefree. On the other hand, some kids have to work and help provide for their families and can 't afford to be at school all day. Well online learning can help with that in a major way.

There are three main reasons beyond the decision of choosing online schooling :flexibility, choice and pacing.
