K-Pop: The Music Genre That Reigns Supreme K-Pop, also known as Korean Pop music, is a worldwide phenomenon that is sweeping the nation from the other side of Earth. Originating from the small country of South Korea, K-Pop is a vast genre that has many components to it. From well thought out concepts to catchy songs, K-Pop has so many aspects that make it better than some of the other genres of music. Despite how effortless idols make it seem to sing and dance their several performances on stage, they go often go through several years of training to get where they are. The training that K-Pop idols endure is a long, difficult path of several hours of dance practices, vocal lessons, strict dieting, and limited hours of sleep.
