People who study a new language have some difficulties and problems when learning because the difference between the native and the target language; English teaching students are also exposed to this situation. In order to develop this project it was planted the following question: What are the common mistakes that university students have regarding linguistics features?
To answer this question, students from the University of Costa Rica in Turrialba, specifically from Written Communication III course, will be observed. By doing this, there can be determined the majority of the problems which English Teaching students face because of Spanish linguistic implications.

It means that, communication between two languages is the reason for the interference.
