They are very strict to me and barely show me any love. I felt jealous of other people’s parents because their parents always show up to support
Because of his violence, I had to get others, such as the authorities, involved. Through it all, my mother displayed a love that I presently aspire to have, and my father asked for forgiveness. I hope that I could be like my father in the sense that I could recognize my failures and subsequently ask for forgiveness. My father always worked hard and provided for his family. Thus, I view the need for parents to
Being proficient in a foreign language is a skill that many employers in today’s global workforce seek. Learning to communicate in a foreign language greatly advances networking and communication skills. Many study abroad opportunities provide for an immersive language educational program, allowing students to live and learn in a vastly different environment.
One could say I have it tough when it comes to meeting my parents expectations. Growing up in a traditional Pakistani household with two parents who have worked their whole life to get where they are. My dad had to work hard, and labor away to get from the bottom to the top, he wants my brothers and I to not go through what he did, and receive good Education, because “without education you won’t go anywhere in your life”. Ever since I can remember, my dad was always compared me to my older brothers. “You’ll see, she will beat you both and get top 10 in her class” he would say.
Parents. What are they for? They help you choose the right path as well as help you whenever needed in life. They work as hard as hard as possible to lead you, but sometimes they may need time for themselves. Maybe a break or some time to follow their interests.
This is because I have what I need I just don't always have what I want. Also my parents think that education is very important, but they don't agree with tests like Istep and NWEA because they think they are unnecessary and dumb, but they want me to have good grades so I can get into a good college. Another thing about my parents is that if an adult asked then what the think of me. They would probable say that am very quite (because I don't go out of my room) and that I am a really good kid but they are the kind of parents that would try to make me look good infront of
I am a hard worker, I understand college is my opportunity in life, and I will not waste the opportunity. The scholarship will go to good use in helping me achieve my
My parents didn't have the opportunities that we have. Both my parents had to quit school at a young age, they had to find a job and help my grandparents pay for bills. My mom wanted to have an education she wanted her diploma but she wasn't able to achieve that goal. To her and my father is important for us to get an education for us to finish high school and go to college because they want all their kids to have a better life and be able to support our children in the future. From day one when I started kindergarten my parents push me to do my best and I don't plan to let them down.
For instance, since my parents do not have a religion, I decide not to have one as well. Some of my beliefs were shaped based on my parents’. We do not have a commitment or a passion for a religion because we believe what we do now will bring either positive or negative results in the future. As a result, my parents always remind me to be careful in all the actions that I plan to take and think thoroughly before I do something. Furthermore, as my national origin is Vietnam, and both of my parents speak Vietnamese as their first language.
Because of this students will do try for good grades in order to satisfy their parents instead of doing it for themselves to be more
My goal in school was to achieve above and beyond, only earning A’s and B’s so that one day I could take care of my parents. My parents never saw me as a “worthy” child since I was always compared to my older brother believing that I would follow in his footsteps; making his mistakes like dropping out of college and getting into trouble with law enforcement. They put me down and compared me
Well, at the age of 13 you are your own person and it is not always your parents who influence you. Maybe you have friends and/or classmates who support
About my schoolwork, since I need to go back to school every day and hospital visiting time policy, I did have enough time to talk with father. Another thing is the financial problem of my family, as my father and mother are unable to work, I have no choice but try to work in order to support my family. Until now, I complain myself every minute every second of the day. Why did I not take care my father around the clock? Why did I not let my father enjoy being loved by myself when he is alive?
Learning a second language at a younger age is beneficial Most little kids first day of school is when they are approximately five years old, and about to enter kindergarten. Kids go to school from about age five till graduation from high school at about age eighteen. Most schools focus on the basic core subjects, such as math, reading, science and history. “You can’t see other people’s point of view when you have only one language,” declared psycholinguist, Frank Smith. Just as it is mentioned in this quote, foreign language is important; therefore, people should learn a foreign language at an early age. When learning a foreign language at an early age, it helps people to concentrate and increase comprehension skills. Also, at a young age, the mind is fresh, so the person can take in more information and can easily master a foreign language. In addition, most secondary schools, universities, and jobs require a foreign language to be known.
