General Topic: Malnutrition Narrowed Topic: Reasons why children aged 0-5 years old are malnourished in the Philippines Thesis Statement: Malnutrition is one of country’s devastating effects and it has not only affected adults, but also the young children which lead them to be more prone to diseases. Literature Review Malnutrition is said to be one of the problems in this country which occurs when an inadequacy of nutrients necessary for life. It is terrifying that 0 - 5 years old children that has malnutrition are very susceptible to infections, lack nutrient reserves for times of stress, and are easily fatigued. In the Philippines, malnutrition remain highest in the poorest sectors of society, in rural areas and among families with low educational status. These children aged from 0 - 5 are still developing and growing so without the nutrients that the body need they will not grow up and develop. Nowadays, Filipino seem to be …show more content…

It can also be a start for the people in the society to learn that this disease is really terrible; people will help each other to solve this and to eliminate this disease from the country they are standing from. Researching can make ideas more efficient and accurate through facts and different studies about it. Moreover, researching about the topic will help the researchers to find more support on the thesis paper. As what the researchers did the research about malnutrition of 0 - 5 years old is a well done due to the fact that they did came up on the right research that made the explanation and information more elaborative. So that the readers can easily understand what the topic is and how crucial it is for the people especially the poor people because they are the highest percentage that are having these disease
