Being a mom can consist of a million of different qualities, other than being blood related. Many people have motherly figures in their lives that aren’t their blood related parents. Some would almost feel the mother-child connection by simply holding someone in loving arms, or caring for someone when they are sick. The power of a maternal figure can influence someone 's life for the better. The smell of mom 's cooking in the evening, the loving advice she would give, the nagging that everyone hates and even the stare she gives, and we all know that one stare means knock it off. There is no going back from this moment on. She is no longer just her mother’s child-- she is a mom. Her baby’s mom. It is as if her whole world changed in a blink of an eye, but despite the rapid change, she embraces it. She loves her child to an extent only a mother can imagine possible.
Motherhood, is one of the most unforgettable milestone in women’s life and a sense of achievement
Adams wrote to John Adams weeks before the Declaration of Independence that they should not ignore women and they could hold a rebellion in the case that they are given no rights and representation - similar to that of why the American Revolution was fought against Britain. Adams detested the idea that married women had to give away their rights to their husbands - single women could own property but she could not. She secretly set aside some of her husband’s property as her own - and slowly saved her “pocket money” to be $5,000 ($100,000 today). Wrote a will in 1816 when she realized she was dying (even though she legally could not own property) - apart from her two sons, everyone who she gave her money to were women.
Every morning she wakes up and makes me breakfast even though it is a difficult task for her to handle. My mother does this out of love, she is looking out for me, ensuring that I start my day out on the right foot. Although a basic task, it encapsulates her love for me at it's finest. This is a daily reminder that love is essential in life, without it you can never live life to its full potential. The unconditional love she has shown me has allowed me to understand the concept of love.
Parenting has been a long practice that desires and demands unconditional sacrifices. Sacrifice is something that makes motherhood worthwhile. The mother-child relationship can be a standout amongst the most convoluted, and fulfilling, of all connections. Women are fuel by self-sacrifice and guilt - but everyone is the better for it. Their youngsters, who feel adored; whatever is left of us, who are saved disagreeable experiences with adolescents raised without affection or warmth; and mothers most importantly.
How generous does one have to be to become a mother? What attributes does a person need to represent a mother? Khaled Hosseini explores motherhood in A Thousand Splendid Suns. In this novel, Hosseini shows the archetypal satisfactory mother by showing Mariam as a supporting, playing, and caring character for Laila and the children. Mariam is seen supporting Laila, Aziza, and Zalmai throughout the novel.
She was a selfless human being who sacrificed her life for all her children. She had a fighting spirit that is unmatched. As a wife, she was very submissive to her husband as Christ requires it, no matter the consequences. Mom was the epitome of humility, kindness, love, compassion, gentleness and had a great sense of humour and an infectious smile. She was very jovial and extremely multi talented.
Mothers are caring, loving, thoughtful, borchering ,and always protected from malicious people and things. These adjectives describe not only the general mother archetype, but make them significant and important. The mother archetype is one of the most important archetypes. The mother archetype stands for all mothers, and their role in playing their mothering parts. This is not only special to that archetype, but explains why it is one.
There have been many people in my life who have impacted it both negatively and positively, but no one has had an impact in my life greater than my mom. This woman is just amazing in my eyes, right from the beginning because of the way she raised me, if I had children I would raise them the same way she raised me. The person she is, in general, has really had a great effect in my life, and also how she has always told me about the struggles shes had in her life from the ones I didn't see to the ones I have seen with my own eyes. I believe if I didn't know my mother as well as I do, she wouldn't have influenced me as much as she does. The way my mom raised me has made me the person I am today, so if I were to say she didn't impact my life I would be lying.
In a world full of uncertainties, there is one person everyone on this Earth dead or alive has or had, and that is a mother. What is a mother? The dictionary definition of a mother as a noun is a woman in relation to her child or children, but as a verb means bring up (a child) with care and affection. While there is no cookie cutter definition of a mother, women still continuously conform to the societal pressure placed upon them. Societal viewpoint is that the title of mother is a one size fits all category, meaning the roles of every mother must be the same since their “job title” is.
Lastly, my mom is loving which is the last reason that she deserves the Marvelous Mother award. I love my mother and I cherish her for these reasons. “A mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take.”-
The universal knowledge and strength of a mother can become, ironically, an element that provides difficulties in many relationships. The love between a mother and daughter is eternally enchanting and frustrating, invigorating and challenging. Mothers serve as a role model and example to their daughters, providing insight and guidance in every walk of life. Despite the stress many mother-daughter relationships endure, a mother’s advice is imperative. Through examining Amy Tan’s book The Joy Luck Club, Sandhya Shetty’s painting Mother and Daughter, and “Sonnets are full of love, and this is my tome” by Christina Rossetti, the power of a mother’s influence is evident.
Raising a child is full of surprises. No matter how many books, parenting forums, and Dr. Sears articles you read, nothing can completely prepare you for becoming a parent. If I could go back to before my daughter was born and tell myself what I didn’t know I would experience, this is what I would say. 1. Making a Baby Isn’t as Easy as It Sounds
My mom, my sweet, gentle mom. My mom is like my sister, we love to talk about juicy stuff and love to share with each other what we did during the day. I don 't like to imagine myself without her because she is basically my life. She is caring and kind and always have a smile on her face when she sees me. When I say her name I get a picture of her in my mind.
My mom had to grow up very quickly and help take care of her younger brother and sister. Because of what my mom went through at such a young age, she has gained a tremendous amount of strength emotionally, which has helped me out at times when I was feeling down and needed someone to be there. Generosity, is the second characteristic
