I believed that in our entire life, we definitely have some people who influence us more or less. There is only one of them who have the most impact to change our life and mindset. The person who has influenced my life the most was a gread women who are kind-hearted personality, she is Mother Teresa (real name: Agnes Gnoxha). The first thing that people usually pops into their mind was ‘an elderly nun that helped the poor.’ Although this good woman has none relevant with me but the way she treats others made me respect her from the head to toe. She said, “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.” (www.purposefairy.com, Mother Teresa). Mother Teresa was not born in India, plus she was a sincere catholic. She did not offense other religion and respect the religions of the dying people. For instance, Mother Teresa will let those dying people that she helped was given the appropriate ritual for their religion. If the patient was a Muslim, she will ask Muslim volunteer to read Koran to them; Hindus will able to get water from Ganges. (From http://www.cttbchinese.org). Everyone gets the same medical, financial, daily support no matter which races, and religion they were. And this really touched by the resident of India where a country was conservatism about religion. Her characteristic taught us not to differentiate a person depend on their skin color, religion and races. Mother Teresa was a low profit and humble person that did not publicize her contribution to people to gain population and famous. She has a true and pure heart to help others. Mother Teresa did not expect any kind of reciprocation from the society and yet keep helping and feeding starving people on the street. She also appreciates that these poverty groups accept her help and support. “If you are humble nothing will touch you, neither praise nor disgrace, because you know what you are.” she said. This sentence is giving a lesson to those people who like to show their contribution to public and seeking attention from people to get compliments and admire because of their small and meaningless contribution.
