A universal language understood all over the world through its rhythm and the sensation it can give a person. Music defines character and demonstrates emotions better than any other means of expression. As society changes, our favorite music changes too. Throughout the years, musical styles have reflected the society of the time and have progressed with changes in the world. The music change in society is proportional with technological advances as well. As technology changes it allows new styles to develop and new ways for people to listen to them. From records to the internet and radio to television music, and the way we consume it has significantly changed over the past years. Even the advances in the technology used to create musical instruments and recording equipment has effected what styles and songs are made and popular within the music scenery. Starting with the 70’s, Disco was one of the most largest and hated trends in music during the decade and sure one of the most entertaining. (A History Of Nusic: From Big Band To Reggaeton). Everybody dances one way or the other, when the music starts we may rock from side to side or even tap our feet to the beat. Music has become a part of us and sometimes the music may “take control” and we dance until we can’t stop.
