The point in my life that changed me was probably the time that i was with my dad and he was drunk and i watched him choke my stepmom and he was yelling at me and my little sisters. It was late at night and they sky was black with bright stars and the moon was brighter than ever. I had just fallen asleep when my stepmother came out of her room trying to get ready for work but she was very noisy which was irritating my dad. My dad was drinking a couple hours earlier and he fell asleep soon after but he turns into someone else when he drinks. He was so furious about the noise that he came out of the room yelling and banging on everything that was in front of him it was like he was the giant from jack and the beanstalk because he instantly resorted to violence. First he was mad that my stepmom was slamming the cabinets shut then he was yelling at my sisters for crying,

He turned around and punched her in her chest then her face and when she fell to the ground he jumped on top of her and started choking her. I tried to get him off of her but i couldn't lift him because i was just a little kid and when he finally got off of her i started yelling at him and i told my stepmother to all the police before we had left. I told my sisters that i love them before i left. he made me get into the truck with him and we left from the house and the irritating thing to me is that every time he is drunk and driving he likes to blast rock music and speed everywhere he is going. When we were leaving the apartment complex he was passing by the grocery store that was a couple blocks away from our place. While we were passing the store a cop had turned on his sirens and that was one of the most scariest moments in my childhood because i had never been chased by cops and it was nothing like the games, movies, or tv shows.
