I choose the North West University Potchefstroom cafeteria to do my one hour observation . I am sitting alone at the cafeteria . Scads of people flits / flitted from / across / through and out of the room , filled with all kinds of buzzing drone of conversations . I am isolated by circumstances because of the observation for the next hour . The cafeteria is segregated into the various groups of campus boasts . The senses of the cafeteria are basic . It is spacious in a sense where everyone can get a seat and eat their breakfast , lunch or dinner . This particular space is used for eating purposes as well as buying food there . It accommodates any everyone based on the food being sold there . It is for everyone 's use on campus , from the lecturers , guests and the students . It was built for food purposes . The two females were on their phones most of the time , the male student and the one female was having conversations with assignments and their shift later on that day . The rest of the females were mocking what a guy that just walked into the SS was wearing and joking around about that . They genuinely looked like they were enjoying the flowing conversations together over food . They had so much energy in their eyes . Not only did they talk about assignments , mocking people they actually spoke of what they did at work (the hospital ) which they didn 't get into much . As one only mentioned how working at the hospital gets tiring of / out the feet and she needed to rest these upcoming holidays . In the next thirsty minutes they left to their next class I overheard during conversations . The table in front of me was a young cogitation man/student that was reading a book over a homemade sandwich with juice from the SS . He looked like he needed an isolated space to enjoy his book . In the age group of late twenties
During the observation portion of this assignment, I observed in a fifth grade ELL classroom. The teacher in charge of this class is Anissa Rose. She has been an ELL teacher for many years and teaches students in kindergarten through the 8th grade. This paper will discuss whether or not the students were aware of the class language and content objective, how the teacher instructed the content and language objectives, the type of group configurations, and how the teacher accommodated for different ELP levels.
They built roads and bridges, factories, and farm, towns, and cities, but they also built a
The group that I chose to observe consisted of four members. Three of the members were part of a family, including the mother, the older sister, and the younger brother. The fourth member I soon noted was the older sister’s friend who had tagged along. They had all come to Culver 's later in the evening to get ice cream a little after dinner time. As soon as they had found their table and sat down the mother had asked the three children what they would like to have.
2. INT. UNIVERSITY CAFETERIA. DAY The cafeteria is full of people.
They looked beyond each other’s race and social class, they were there because they knew they had a problem and that by being there they were going to get the help they need. They were willing to help each other out in any way they could. I felt happy to know that
The Beacon Café was located next to the front entrance. William peered into the main cafeteria adjacent the Beacon Café. A few students sat quietly at tables reading. Two students in the back of the cafeteria played chess. William walked into the smaller room that housed the Beacon Café, and took a seat at one of the tables along the interior wall.
For my rhetorical analysis assignment, my group had to write about a restaurant or public place where people would eat food. I chose to write about the University of South Alabama Cafeteria, also known as the Cafe. I went to the cafeteria and observed my surroundings and I myself also ate as well. I then wrote about the positives and the negatives of eating in the school’s cafeteria. While I wrote about what I observed that day in the cafe, I used three strategies of writing.
I feel that in the classroom, Space 100 did not contribute to my MQT (Mission Qualification Training) preparation. Although, there were sections which covered the history of space flight, orbital mechanics, and a very brief description of the launch team positions, much of this information proved to be riddled with inaccuracies in punctuation, grammar, and facts. It became painfully evident that the course was rushed into production and instituted several months prematurely. The simulation lab was one of the best parts of Space 100 in terms of MQT preparation.
On 06/16/15 at approximately 1258 hours I responded to 5538 Regal Oaks Circle for a report of four suspicious black males between the ages of 16 to 18 years of age. The caller, Giovanni who resides at 5538 Regal Oak Circle (NOI) advised the black males were observed walking around the neighborhood and jumping fences. He advised the black males were observed getting into a black in color, 4 door, Toyota Corolla. Giovanni also stated he thought the juveniles were casing vehicles or residence to burglarize. He advised there have been multiple burglaries to vehicles and residences recently.
In the front of the restaurant the kitchen takes place. In the right corner there is a salad bar to make your own salad. On the left side there is a playground for children that’s why no much noise. To
At the entrance of the school, an enormous balloon arch welcomed us all in. Soon, the cafeteria floor of my school filled with students. Photo stations in the back for groups of friends. The DJ pumping up the crowd from an elevated stage in the middle of the cafeteria. A food station in the corner with donut holes, cookies, and water.
It is open during lunch and dinner hours. Inside, there are many tables that sit around the restaurant and are covered in white tablecloth and has flowers placed in a clear vase. The walls are bright coloured that create a vibrant mood as people enjoy their meals with an almost inaudible music.
I conducted my observations at Lockport Middle School. Lockport Middle School is currently ranked an A school from the Louisiana Department of Education. Science lessons were observed in sixth, seventh, and eighth grade over the course of a two week period. All three classrooms displayed a positive climate.
Classroom Observations Mrs. Canada is the first grade teacher that I observed, and the subject that she was teaching was reading. She had planned well-organized power points and crafting materials in advance, so she was prepared for the lesson. The two times I observed, the lesson that was being taught at both times was reading. Children in the classroom used a lot of previous knowledge for the lesson.
