The other way you should be getting involved, is getting to know the students at the school and in your class because those who are engaged tend to study more and engage in their studies. The other main point of this chapter is about being motivated to do your school work and go to school.

Even though education is valuable to students, the society also desires it to make it safer and healthier. In my opinion, education will be beneficial to those who do their very best in their high school and college years. Additional education will affect a higher possibility of an optimistic importance in a student’s life and society, as
The concept of consumerism was first brought to my awareness in First Year Writing. I admit, before this intro course, I was indeed ignorant of the negative impacts that consumption had on society. FYS opened my mind to the dangers of over-consumption, and more importantly, helped me see beyond what meets the eye. Take for example, Disney, a seemingly innocent corporation, a company’s whose name is practically synonymous with the notion of childhood innocence. Upon initial judgement, one would assume that Disney is merely harmless family entertainment.
As I ponder over my life, each memory seems identical to the other, and I find myself drifting through a reality of similar events that generate the same memories and emotions. Looking back further into my childhood includes memories of my homeland. I remember entering a new world at the age of five, where all of my later memories would be formed. This was when my family moved to the United States from Peru, my native country in the South. The complete change in culture and values truly impacted me when I first moved to Florida, and I reflect over the significant effect it has had on my character during the last thirteen years of my life.
The significance of education cannot be stated enough, which is an investment to a better future. Getting an education is one of the most powerful things a person can ever obtain. It is crucial to the overall development of the individual and the society as a whole. When individuals do not have the option of getting an education due to the cost of the schools as well as the lack of schools itself. For those living in poverty it can be difficult to earn the same amount of education as other people who are considered middle or high class.

(Allan, 2009) • Having a dedicated space to study, ensure all supplies are available ahead of time. In (Talbot , 2010, Chapter 3), this is shown to be a successful strategy as it cuts back on time wasting as well as creates a learning environment, in a distance learning setting ( • Cutting back on non-essential social activities, so that there is enough family time as well, as time set aside and applied for studying. This point is emphasized by Moore, et all when it is stated “Gaining a sense of what time you have at your disposal is a starting point for gaining more control of your life” (Moore, et al., 2010)
With senior year of high school coming to a close, comes an overwhelming amount of stress about moving away to college. At the beginning of this school year, I was eager to leave and excited to go away, but I came to a realization that leaving home alarms me. At this point in time, I began to notice just how much my parents do for me and just ruminating about everything I would have to do on my own now, makes me nervous. School has never been an issue for me but what my friends say about college, makes it even more petrified to go. Being constantly asked questions like, “how do you always get your work done?” or “how do you have such good time management?” reassures me that I will do fine in college.
Moving to a new country can be difficult sometimes. Leaving all my relatives and friends back home was the saddest thing for me. My mother told me that we were moving to a new country. At first, I thought my mother was joking about it. but little did I know that she was telling the truth.
Education is interconnected with every single strand of the economy, laws, jobs, research… I believe that education is not only one of the most important factors in a development of a country but instead, it has a greater significance than other factors. First and Foremost, Education is the foundation of our society. It gives us the power of knowledge and the power of assisting others. Nelson Mandela once said: “Education is the most powerful weapons which you can use to change the world – The Former
Moving is always hard. It is harder if you are moving from your birthplace to a culturally different country after spending most of your teenage years. I moved from Bangladesh to New York about a year and a half ago and let me tell you, it was not easy. I had to leave the place I grew up in, my friends and relatives and start a new life here in America. Probably the only good part was that at least I was with my family throughout this hardship.
Introduction: Education is a basic need of every human being. Every country has their own education system with a motive of “to make their people well educated and civilized”. Schools, colleges, universities, Affiliation Boards, teacher, lecturers, professors, students etc all these entities form the system called an educations system. I think that this one could be a good reason for a lot of people who like to travel outside of the country. Another good reason for learning a foreign language is people who have learned a foreign language, when applying for a job are more likely to get the job than the person that didn’t learn a foreign language. Be more employable, knowing a foreign language can make you a useful resource for most businesses, and it helps you stand out from a crowd of job applicants. Build job skills, In the global economy,
Travelling helps us to know more about different lifestyles, cultures, cuisines and festivals. Visiting new sights and exploring new places increases our knowledge and widens our global perspective. We get to learn so many things about different cultures and customs. It makes us open minded and gives us a new viewpoint about life and it also changes some of our bad habits.
Malcolm X once said “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepared for it today.” In the western world education plays a vital role in shaping our future; it determines if we will survive or fail in the world we created for ourselves. Our world is constantly changing and it requires a society that is well versed in understanding the problems deriving from cultural differences and tolerance of one another’s beliefs and perceptions. With the power of education we are able to deal with the problems of economic, government, religion and culture differences.
