The time has great importance in our life. Also, it has an effect on people. In developed societies such as the United States of America, Switzerland, and Japan, the time has an economic, social and personal value. Time is something that you can lose and never get back. People always wish they had more hours available in the day. Time management for students is a universal problem. Poor time management affects every part of our life. Also, they play a significant role in achieving "complacency." which means the person will be satisfied with what he sees in his life. Also, reduces the overlap of responsibilities and business with each other. So, that each work will have its own time. Apparently, that will make the person proficient in his work, as he has a group of workers, and every work has time, should not waste time to repair the work or address the mistakes of the first work to strive to accomplish the work in the best ways. Besides, it will cultivate the positive spirit in the person as a result of what appears in the achievements of his life, but a messy person will feel weakness and the lack of time to accomplish little of works. Another great result is doing works easily , studies have proven that a planning hour provides five hours of work. On other hands, it gives the person self-development because of shortcomings observed in some of his works and his need to improve himself through self-accounting. Additionally, practical time management skills a lot time in which to complete all my academic tasks within a timely. Time management ability will positively decrease my research, writing, and proofreading processes as I continue in the course. Also, having an ability to connect my hourly work schedule to online assignments and study time increases the effectiveness. As final analysis I believe as a student spending twenty or more hours a week on research activities, fifty-six hours per week sleeping, eight hours eating, and twenty hours involved with leisure activities.
As whispers of a schedule change to a four-day school week reach the attentive ears of the students, a humming buzz of interest fills the school. Students daydream about the potential benefits that would accompany the alteration, gossiping with their peers at every possible chance in an attempt to discern all of the information. The more they consider the new four-day week, the more they wish for a change. The students would be able to sleep late for an extra day every week and spend more time with their family and friends. A good number of adolescents are lacking sleep and are performing poorly both academically and physically. As a result, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is pushing educational policymakers to make middle and high schools start later in the morning (Richmond). Students show up to class seriously lacking sleep and the early start times cause them to have to wake up at hours that contradict their internal clocks, which are rhythms that determine sleep patterns. Less than half of the 10th graders get even seven hours of sleep, which is already less than the recommended hours of sleep for an adolescent (Richmond). Time management is important to have because it helps get work done more efficiently and is a way to manage your priorities. Priorities along with making commitments are also learned from participating in a extra activity. Time management: Time management is a very crucial component if you are willing to have a productive lifestyle. To be honest, I have always had issues with managing my time efficiently. This problem had become a huge obstacle once I got into college. Thus, attending a lecture that focuses on time management helped me a lot with this problem by introducing me to different aspects related to time management: planning, SMART goals, and important/urgent matrix. Learning to make a specific plan for my daily tasks and make a to-do list to make my day as productive as possible is something very helpful which was advised to me by the instructor of this lecture Mr. Irfan.
