INRODUCTION The Swedish Traffic Control Technique is useful to address nature and seriousness of risk in any geographic locality where traffic poses threat to human and property damage . This technique was developed in University of Lund , where evasive maneuver such as braking , swirling and accelerating were taken into account , to calculate time to accident (TA value). This technique does not wait for accidents to happen , rather it analyzes events where road users perform an evasive maneuver to avoid a crash . Measuring such type of road user behavior is actually the essence of Swedish Traffic Control Technique. Hence , as many accidents are unregistered , this technique could also tackle that problem .Apart from its limitations as subjectivity , human and machine errors , it has been widely anticipated as successful technique because of results of such observation result in 80 % successful forecasting (Archer 2001). BRIEF EXPLANATION OF METHOD The Swedish Traffic Control Technique measures and record by video footage the …show more content…

Look both ways and when it is all clear you may pass. With a truck carrying hazardous materials, slow down safely and go only when it is completely clear.
Traffic laws are avoided and taken for granted every day, similar to red-light violations, speeding, and not wearing seat belts. In the article, “Cintas Lists the Seven Most Hazardous Driving Habits”, a person who performs these driving habits is known as “The Rule Breaker.” Running a red light is expressed by aggressive drivers, rushing, or not paying attention. Red-light violations are often so dangerous due to the collision that usually occurs at 45 degree angles (Moser). This type of collision can have an outcome of severe injuries.
