1. Bogmalo Beach
Situated at a distance of nine km from the main city, the Bogmalo beach in Vasco is a popular tourist attraction in the port city. It is one of the rare Goan beaches with all the attractions minus the overwhelming crowds. Housing a number of fun activities, this flat, sandy beach is ideal for a picnic or excursion with family. It is also the right place for thrill-seeking travelers, as there a number of adventure sports you can enjoy here. Bogmalo is especially known for its diving facilities that allow you to explore the undersea world of coral reefs and shipwreck sites.
2. St. Andrew’s Church
The first sight that greets you upon entering Vasco Da Gama is this ancient St Andrew’s Church. Acknowledged as one of the oldest churches in Goa, it was established during the late 16th century. Dedicated to Saint Andrew, it is a Roman Catholic Church. It was established by the Jesuit missionaries, who are believed to have come to Vasco with the Portuguese colonizers. The church building was constructed using lime and stone, and has a magnificent Neo-Gothic façade, with equally beautiful interiors. Every year on November 30, the church celebrates the feast of St Andrew, the patron saint of the fishing community.

It was an incredible event as it was a fight for their independence and culture, and freedom from the torture the Spanish had put on them. The revolt resulted from several factors including religious and economic exploitation, as well as torment from the Spanish colonizers. The causes leading up to the revolt were the series of events that the pueblo people had to endure.
Alvar Nunez Cabeza De Vaca survived by using the resources he had in order to thrive through the many difficulties he faced. He was very resourceful and helped others along the way. Ways he survived was using materials he found and also things he hunted, another way was he was a great communicator, and also he could heal injuries. Cabeza was a very clever and sharp-witted man who went through many catastrophes, but found his way through each and everyone.

Living in the Jim Crow South as a traveling reporter for the Pittsburgh Courier, Alexander Rivera was used to the act of concealing his identity to garner crucial information on trials, lynching’s and murders done to African Americans. “Something told me, I don’t know what the something was to go dressed as a chauffeur” Alexander Rivera explained, “It was easier traveling as a chauffeur because everybody figured that you worked with somebody important”.

Antonio Lopez De Santa Anna was a leader for the mexican army until april 21 1836 he was born in February 21, 1794 in Xalapa, Mexico. In 1828 he used his military influence to lift the losing candidate into the presidency, being rewarded in turn with appointment as the highest-ranking general in the land. In 1833 he won election to the presidency of the independent republic of mexico by an independent republic popular majority.
