Warm-up 1
3/2 What did you do during the winter holidays? Did you travel or just have a staycation?
I had a very substantial winter vacation. I traveled with my family and we went to Yunnan and had a good time. We were planning to go to Yunnan for a long time,so we set off on a holiday. We started off from Ningbo airport at 5pm and after two hours ,we reached Yunnan. Different from big city,my first impression of Yunnan was simple, where the air was very clean and natural. The city’s building was not so high and there were not so many horns,it has a different kind of style. Lijiang old town is famous all over the world and it is also a necessary place for Yunnan tourism ,that is my favorite place in Yunnan. There were a lot of

Warm-up 3
3/16 Is there too much pressure on students these days because of exams?
There is too much pressure on students these days because of exams .Because the exam we are faced seems more and more important and some parents and teachers think it means weather the students’ academic performance is good or bad . It invisibly causes pressure to the students . On the one hand ,if the test result is not good ,students may be blamed by parents and teachers and they will lose faith in their studies . On the other hand , if the test results is pretty good ,students will also feel pressure. They will worry about the next exam ,even some others will arrogant and not concentrate on learning . So I think there is too much pressure on students because of exams . We can make a little adjustment and don’t give the students too much pressure in study
Students desire to stay up to par with their peers, whether that be socially or in this case, on the academic level. When one individual falls behind, there’s pressure on him or her to pick himself/herself up. At the same time, parents often stress the importance of the student’s grades along with the implications of the student’s future, such as entering a good college or landing a high-paying job. Moreover, the student’s own pride and personal aspirations are put on the line. Therefore, because society applies pressure on the student to perform well in school to admit himself/herself into a prestigious college or acquire a luxurious job, students reevaluate themselves and realize the way to reach that kind of success is not through arguing well but through “a show of information or vast reading, by grade-grubbing, or other forms of one-upmanship.”
Pressure, a thorn in the side of every student. In The Boat by Alistair MacLeod. While pressure may be beneficial, too much pressure may result in unhealthy amounts of stress. For as long as I could remember, my parents placed a strong emphasis on my academic success. Stereotypically, they decided I would become a doctor and expected me to get good grades.
Many parents hold incredibly high expectations of their students due to the necessity of being college educated in order to obtain a job in which they can support themselves. On top of this pressure from parents, colleges and universities hold increasingly high standards in criteria for accepting potential students. Universities hope that students excel academically, in sports, volunteering, and they must be a well rounded individual. The need students to be essentially perfect and holding the same common level of standard puts measureless stress on students. This causes some students to rise above the pressure and excel in all areas, but other students do not work quite as well under the same amount of pressure.
Texas School Testing Learning is an amazing, beautiful, and helpful process of the mind. It lets us recall things that we have come to understand; learn. We learn about the people, the world, the challenges humanity has faced, wars fought over time. Texas has many schools and the main goal for these school 's is that the student 's pass rather than anything else. The only thing is, without understandment and knowledge of what we are supposed to be learning, how are we going to pass these test.
Snow days, are they over? Snow days are soon going to be replaced with E-days. E-days are days that you have to stay home because of the harsh weather so instead of staying home and watching tv, you can learn from home. So with that said, I think that E-days are a good idea. This essay will explain to the reader that E-days are a good idea because they 1.help save money, 2.
The effect of this is, students will be stressed and annoyed or angry with them, if unable to raise test scores. To sum up, students will feel not needed pressure.
Rationale From observation majority of the students are faced with social, personal and academic challenges. They are at the stage Identity
Most of the students were under pressure, but some of them would choose suicide to end their life because they can’t suffer the pressure that the life given. According to Robert, (2014), “The pursuit of high test scores not only brings pressure to students, but also to teachers, making the relationship between teachers and students worse.” That is because teachers always made their students in pressure for good in exam for their afterwards working
The sound of birds chirping garishly outside my window, wakens me from a deep slumber. Opening my eyes, I see the morning sun’s rays illuminating my room. I’m longing for sleep to engulf me back into its warm embrace. My father ruins any hope of going back to sleep as he hollers upstairs that breakfast is ready. Standing up and doing a morning stretch is when I first smell it.
