Information – Communication Technology (ICT) is a general expression for a variety of different computer, information and communication devices, applications, network and services. Communication Technology has become important in our daily lives. Both individuals and business use communication technology to get what they need. All these forms of communication will assist in the growth of an organization, but they also have their downsides. Below I have listed both the advantages and disadvantages of communication technology.

US tv shows are now affecting most teens, causing them to dress similar and act similar to what they are seeing. It has also made english the most used language for business and everything else.
Our reliance on technology has greatly influenced our lives. Nowadays most homes have one, if not more, tv or laptop or tablet. This affects our activity levels, how much time we spend outside, and how much we socialise with each other face to face.
We have become reliant on technology for helping us to remember all of the information we are bombarded with every day. This is useful in the short term but if we are not using our brains to remember things then our memory will deplete. Many people don’t bother learning to spell because they have access to a spell checker or learn to do basic math because we have access to calculators on all phones or in classes.
Communications technology has made it much easier to send and receive personal information easily but this also open up many opportunities for out information to be stolen or passed on without our consent. Due to information technology there is a chance of personal, private information becoming public
