Factories are all over the place, in every continent, in every country and even most of the cities have some sort of factory. A factory is a building where products are made, so this means that all the cities in the world that have a factory, produce things for economic benefits. Factories can be used for creation of goods, for packaging the company’s product or for many other important things. Building a factory, especially a big one, is an excellent way of creating new and well payed jobs, but having a factory anywhere also has its disadvantages. The advantages of having a factory in a city can be that the local people can benefit from having new and good jobs, foreign people would go to live to the city the new factory is created and the people will learn more about their culture and finally it will benefit the city’s economy because of all the production of materials that is going to happen. However, these companies also affect the city in a negative way. The companies that dedicate to metalworking produce a lot more wastes than other types of factories because they use a lot of hazardous materials and materials that cannot be reduced, reused, or recycled. This causes the companies pollute the environment of the city, especially its air quality. Commerces and services in the city do not contaminate the environment because the companies that dedicate to that are very responsible for the environment, meaning that they reduce as much material as they can, recycle what they can and they reuse most of the products that they
