Socio-Cultural Impacts of Hosting World Cup
Introduction
The purpose of this report is to measure how does hosting the World Cup affect the country as well as the people as a whole. Statistics have been presented to highlight the areas in which the country have been affected. Also, the weighing of the advantages and disadvantages of the international event have been discussed. Finally, the most rational way to hold the event will be recommended.

It also place the country in a very different standing and great publicity in ‘marketing the country ‘ and definitely increase tourism market. As such, it takes pride for any country to be the host of the World Cup Event although lots of preparation and hard work are put into organising the important event.
But at the same time, the government should take in consideration the welfare of the people who will get affected and provide an avenue for them to be able to turn to before implementing decisions that would see many being badly affected and also at the expense of their daily routines to make a living. In which over 200 countries compete for titles in the various categories. These titles win these counties and their altheates international renown. While the Olympics are this great, global spectacle and wonderful tradition, it causes great cost and impact to the people of the host country.

Tokyo, Japan spent $150 million to bid for its spot as the 2016 Summer Olympics host, but it ended up losing that bid and the millions of dollars (McBride 5). When Boston had the chance to bid for the 2024 Olympics, many Bostonians were protesting against the Olympics in Boston (Gregory 2). Their anger stems from the negative effects the Olympics bring to its host city. In Montreal, the Olympics inundated the city a $1.5 billion debt (McBride 3).

Soccer is the number 1 sport in the world. There are 11 players per team, and 3 major position zones that, when added together creates the possibility of 23+ different individual positions. The 3 major position zones are Defense, Midfield and Forward/Striker. Of all the positions involved, the midfielder requires the most preparation as he/she will be the one on the ball 70-80 percent of the time. Although it is the most difficult position to play there are key steps you can take to become a good midfielder.

Youth football is a sport that is played in various places, many people think that it is not dangerous and kids should be able to play, while others think that this sport is too dangerous and should not be played. Based off of all the evidence that I have found through research, it has let me to agreeing with the fact that youth football is too dangerous for young children to be playing. This sport has pros to it, some of which are very good, but the con side outways it with extraordinary pieces of evidence, these are the things showing that this sport is not to be played at this age and overall. There are a few pieces of evidence and facts that show proof of why it is dangerous and why this can’t be stopped. Some of the reasons are very serious, such as CTE which is a brain disease caused by rapid hits to the brain, this has lifetime affects and changes you in many ways, in worst cases this can even cause death.

Soccer has a basic rules; First, we can’t touch the ball with our hand; only the goalkeeper can; Second, there are two cards; one is a yellow card, and the other is a red card; yellow card means if we got the yellow card warns us did another foul we will get another yellow card, if we get the second yellow card, the referee will give us a red card, and a red card means, we will not continue the match, and can’t play the next match. There’s two type of soccer; one of them is the normal soccer, and the other one is the beach soccer. Normal soccer we play in the stadium; the beach soccer, we will play at the beach with sand. We can’t start a match without our eleven players on our team.
Soccer is an international sport that is for many centuries and decades. It helps to release the stress from the job, homework and college. Also, preserve the children from negative influences such as drugs, tobacco, and alcohol. The children will grow with a healthy lifestyle. To gain a better understanding of how the Olympic and Paralympic games affect and are affected by the host nation I am going to compare and contrast the London games to the 2008 Chinese games and the upcoming Brazilian games.
