Planning plays a very important role to ensure the management of an organization run smoothly and effectively. Planning is often called the primary management function because it establishes the basis for all the other things managers do. Besides that, planning also is a very useful source for managing the risks that may occur in the future. Planning is a process of identifying an organization 's short term plans which a time frame of one year or less and long-term plans which a time frame beyond three years, monitoring strategies for an organization and concerned with defining goals for company 's future direction in order to achieve their target.
