Likewise among most mothers, Amish mother’s roles are quite traditional. Her job is to clean and tidy the house as well as take care of her children. She has many responsibilities, such as cooking, doing the laundry, farming, and sewing. The father’s job is to take the leadership of the family as well as provide income for the family while he’s at work
The roles of each family member widely varied. Fathers, children, and spouses had their own duties that no one else could fulfill. The mothers would stay around the house and tend to the home needs. They made candles so the family would have light; they also had to clean day to day because of the dust from the open fires. Fortunately for the rest of the family, the mothers knew how to spin, weave, and sew so

The book talks about how men are the breadwinners of the family and that the females are the nurturing kind. For my family alone, it is mostly females and therefore they had to work hard to be the breadwinners. I have never seen them be the stay-at-home mom and take care of the children. For my family, the roles are equal. If it is a mom and a dad, they both work, they both clean, they both take care of the children and they both take care of the finances.
The idea of republican motherhood and the cult of domesticity are two contrasting ideas of how women should be living their life around the times of the 1800s. The republican motherhood was a movement that women should be educated and are able to live individual lives without men providing for them. The cult of domesticity was a view that women should be stay-at-home wives, take care of the children, and provide comfort to the husband when he is home. The biggest difference of these two movements was the decision to educate women. Republican motherhood was all for the educating of women but the cult of domesticity wanted the opposite: no education for women.
Even though these are accurate representations, does not mean every single person with a bonnet on is from an Amish community. Some Mormon women wear bonnets and modest clothing, but a bystander might assume they are Amish. Isolation is a part of the traditions, but it is mainly to help them be focused in their religion and stay away from negative distractions and influences from the outside world. In some Amish settlements, tourists can go visit to buy homemade food and handmade furniture and accessories. When people visit these sites, it seems like most of them treat the Amish vendors as if they are an exhibit at the zoo.
These evident members are the Father, the Mother, and other siblings whether adopted or blood related. The father's main role in a family is to lead the others by example in events like public forums, as well as being able to cultivate, grow, and develop the wealth and resources of the family. The mother’s typical role in the family is to keep the father inspired and motivate him to come up with new ideas that propel the family to progress and development. It is her responsibility to keep track of the family’s wealth and resources, as well as make sure every member of the family is feeling comfortable at home. Most importantly in the Ibo society, it is the mother’s job to love the father, cook his food, and of course keep the house spotless.
In a family there are many different roles; there's the role of the mother, the father, the child, the grandparents, then there’s the brothers and sisters. Every single one of those roles has different responsibilities. The father, according to most of society, is supposed to be the breadwinner for the family. However, nowadays the mother is actually quite capable of being the breadwinner just as much of as the father. As they work to show their children what it is to be an adult they are teaching them as well on how to be an active member of society.

The horseshoe let the horse work hard without the hooves cracking, while the horse collar acted as a barrier to make the horse pull the heavy load from their chest instead of straining their neck. The horses being selectively bred allowed the peasants to gain two more hours in the work day because the horses were stronger and faster. Overall, the innovations allowed the peasants to have an easier time going through the agriculture process. There were many economic and social changes that occurred in the Late Middle Ages.
