There are many people around the world who aren’t fertile enough to have kids, there is a method they could use called artificial insemination. This method is the deliberate introduction of sperm into a female’s uterus or cervix for the purpose of achieving a pregnancy through fertilization by means other than sexual intercourse. Also known as intrauterine insemination, first the doctor will insert sperm into a woman’s vagina or cervix while she’s ovulating. The sperm then travels into the Fallopian tubes, there the sperm can fertilize the woman’s egg or eggs. Artificial insemination is for the couples who can’t produce a baby. “Unofficial history claims that the first attempt to artificially inseminate a woman, were done by Henry IV (1224-1470 King of Castle).” Many contemporary historians assumed King Henry IV was not able to have children. “The possibility of artificial insemination was launched more than 100 years later, in 1784, the first artificial insemination in a dog reported by scientist Lazaro Spallanzani.” “Artificial insemination is a fertilization procedure where sperm is artificially placed into a woman’s cervix or uterus.
