If you look at a sport like football it can be VERY expensive with gear, an average helmet can be around $250.00, shoulder pads can be from $100 to $150, and then add rib guards and leg pads which will add up to around $100. That’s a lot for gear and most if not all high schools have football, but the way they’ll be able to get away with it is by gradually acquiring gear from fundraisers. That’s how most of the schools got most of there gear for football so they could do that for schools and club teams. As long as the gear gets cheaper and demand for the sport goes up there will be lacrosse across the country at every school. If it becomes that accessible it’ll become a very diverse sport making the sport open to everyone.

Sports scholarships can help students who can't afford to go to college, get a better education. Sports scholarships are for students who excel in a sport, and a college will give the student money to play their sport at their college. This is amazing for students but there are various downsides. Sometimes the scholarship can be a hindrance for the student causing them not to reach their academic potential. Sports scholarships are also rare and can be a false hope for families not able to afford college.
