When I first stumbled upon this scholarship from the American Legion, I knew right away that I wanted to apply for it because of the similarities between what the American Legion and what I both stand for. I few words that I would use to describe the American Legion and myself would be, service, integrity, and hard work. These are a few things that I take very seriously and attempt to involve in my life everyday. I pride myself on these high character traits and try to use them in my community, during sporting events, at home, and at my school. I also implement these traits while fulfilling my civic duties by doing service around my community. Some of these services involve, the 20 hours of service I am required to do each year to graduate

My future goal is to be a Diagnostic Sonography Technician. The aspiration I have is to make my parents proud. I will be the first child in my home to graduate from high school and go to college and continue studying. Not only would I be making my parents proud, but going to college always guarantees you have a better job, with a better pay this means I would be able to help my parents out with a lot more than just a bill. When my parents are to be an old age my goal is for them not to have to worry about expenses, because I would be covering it. With the money I would be earning if I were to finish college, It would be so much easier for me to help those in need.

I am deeply honored to be given the opportunity to join the National Honor Society and be among some of the most exceptional students in our school. Being given this opportunity shows my family and myself that I’ve truly worked as hard as I can to succeed. Growing up around adults with a good work ethic has taught me to see the reality in life. Working hard will help create a better future.

The career choice that I have chosen is to become an athletic trainer. I love to play sports and be around sports, so I think that being an athletic trainer would be a good career for me. I like to help people and make an impact in other peoples life and becoming an athletic trainer would allow me to help people recover, start to feel better, and get back to what they have to do. There isn’t much better than doing a career that you enjoy and like to do plus making pretty good money doing it. I just feel that becoming an athletic trainer and doing it as a career would be the best fit for me.

Everyone's goals are all different, some many be a football career, or basketball, or golf, or some type hobby anyone has. In the Odyssey, the main character Odysseus has a goal to make it back to his homeland to see his wife and son. Some people if they want, live at home and enjoy the living of their parents house. Thinking about a future can be scary sometimes, especially if parents are dragging it on you to find out what you are going to do with a future. Future a frightening word.

My career goals in life is either to play professional football (NFL), become a physical therapist, be a high school football coach, or take over my father’s business. Ever since I was a young child I loved watching football and playing it too it would mean the world to me if I went to play in the national football league (NFL). I love to run and try to stay fit my health is very important to me I like to discipline myself in everything I do athletically and also academically. I take pride in everything I do. Ever since I was young I have always wanted to work in the medical field; however, I did not want to be wearing scrubs and working in an office everyday. As a freshman in high school the research papers started to begin. Most were to write about a topic that interests you, where as, others were to write about a future career. Hello i 'm Antwaun LoMcGriff. I 'm in 8th grader at CCS (Continues Curriculum School). My skills are: Sports, Mechanical Engineer, Science, and much more. I 'm still trying to find more of my skills and what I 'm good at but it will come to me soon. The Sports I play are Football and Basketball. I know and believe that I can do any sport or any classes. There was an incident this year that a kid fell in a gorilla pit at a zoo and a gorilla named harambae dragged him by his the kids leg, so the zoo had to shoot him.

My educational goal is to graduate from college and get my bachelor 's degree in Pediatric Nursing. This reason why I say this is because graduating from college is a huge accomplishment. Graduating from high school and going to college is a huge stepping stone because you 're starting a new chapter in your life. Think about it, you are going through 4 years of learning about a major that you are passionate about and wanting to have a career is the biggest motivational drive, What you’re passionate about can be your drive to finish college because wouldn’t you want a career?

I 'm the kind of person that likes to work with my hands and hate having to sit around and do nothing. I like to work with animals/farm and i like my sports and the outdoors. In 5 more years i want to save money and be able to get a farmhouse in the country in Kansas and get animals. I would have 2 jobs to support my family. By 20 years i want to have my house build the way i want it and have children. This is important to me because i want to be able to have a family and have a job that i will enjoy but still makes enough money to have a good life style.

When I graduate high school, I plan on having future goals that I plan on achieving. My first goal is to go to college and get a degree. I plan on attending Purdue NorthWest majoring in engineering and minoring in business. This is my number one future goal that I need to accomplish because to be able to have a nice life, I need to go to college to support my future family. My next future goal would be get a starting job to be able to support my future family. With the internship that I would get at Purdue NorthWest, they would be able to help my find I job that I would like to do. This job would be able to help me get money so that I can start a family. My final future goal would be to go back to college to get my Masters Degree in engineering. As technology advances into the future, I would need to go back to college to update myself with the new technology. After graduating, I could go into a higher engineering field and get more for my work.
