Benefits of Meditation
Jay asks Mr. Brain why we should do meditation, How it works? Mediation has an amazing power to transform people lives in many ways. In a stressful life meditation is very powerful technique to make you stress free and change your life forever. We can learn about it step by step. It is a potion for human brain. It can bring amazing power in human body and mind. You can change your life completely through it. Power of subconscious mind can be achieve by it. Some studies suggest that meditation affects all parts of our life; even it can change the size of our brain.
In, 2011, a professor from Harvard University studied reflect that within only eight weeks meditation can do miraculous effects on our brain. It can change the size of our mind. How it really works. Our mind has two kind parts, good parts and bad parts. Bad parts comprise envy, frustration, greedy, stress, tension, anxiety etc. and on other hand in our good parts we have confidence, enthusiasm, energy, motivation to do something great, gratitude etc. Studies reflect that within short span of time our mind’s bad parts start shrinking and good parts or our brain like confidence start increasing.

Imagine when you were kid, how happy you were, you did not have any tension. I know you are going to say that now we are mature and we have more responsibility. We are not same as before but point is not stay child or kid forever. Here my point is to stay happy despite whatever conditions we are in. These days we stay stressful all the time, which affects our health condition exponentially. Meditation is the key to make us stress free and bring back to our basic nature which is staying happy all the time which does not mean that we should leave our responsibility. The main motive behind motivation for Buddhist is for self-realization. Whereas the main reason for meditation for is psychological than religion in Hinduism. For Hindus, meditation is like feeling connected with the God, who is the creator. The other main purpose for doing mediation is mental and physical relaxation. In Buddhism, Buddhist monks do meditation in order to improve their fighting techniques.
Mindfulness Process Journal 1 Practicing mindfulness has been an important part of my life since I have decided to become a Buddhist. I often heard that mindfulness or meditation although is taught in other cultures, only a portion of mindfulness was emphasized in the practice of mindfulness. One of the reasons I aim to complete this course is to learn about the vocabulary used when teaching mindfulness. I was thrilled by the detailed concepts and the choice of words used to describe mindfulness. In particular, I was amazed by the introduction of mental factors, Four Noble Truths, and the Noble Eightfold path in the concept of mindfulness.

Worry builds up inside a person and in many cases and manifests itself in physical illness. Doctors even now believe that anxiety may be the cause of many diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and gastrointestinal problems as well. Stress is costing America billions in medical bills, OTC drugs, and sessions with therapists in an attempt to combat the effects of anxiety caused by stress. But, what if there was a way to relief stress and its associated anxiety that comes with it.
Your not so scared of having to fit in, so you are more unlatched and happy. Enjoyment is the ultimate factor of being healthy. ¨Happiness and good health go hand-in-hand. Indeed, scientific studies have found that happiness can make our hearts healthier, our immune systems stronger, and our lives longer¨ (Greater Good). Knowing you have people you can rely on to be there for you is the best feeling.
Annotated Bibliography The projected study attempts to design a research that would examine the competence of mindfulness therapy. The design would evaluate the progress of the selected individuals who are receiving mindfulness therapy in comparison to those receiving another kind of therapy over a given period of time. Mindfulness meditation has been described ‘as the awareness that comes from paying attention to the present moment experience in a purposeful and non-judgmental manner’ (Bishop et al., 2004 cited in Brown, Bravo, Roos, & Pearson, 2014 p. 1020). Pearson, Brown, Bravo and Witkiewitz (2015) suggest there are five important features of mindfulness when practising such as focussing one’s attention to the present and avoiding distractions, non-judgmentally experiencing thoughts, non-reactivity to thoughts, labelling experiences and simply observing thoughts/feelings. As we learn and practice mindfulness, we will become more aware, and others around us are likely to find us as helpful, patient, open-hearted, non-judgmental and compassionate human being. Being more mindful and aware will ultimately help us to live and enjoy our life to the full! Need we desire more? Mindfulness today, is one of the most talked about developments in human psychology, and innumerable researches are being undertaken across the globe to understand its positive effects and implications.
Managing your stress will give you a greater happiness. Being pressured with stress makes you feel like you are in a box, and can’t get out. Oftentimes, when we are stressed, it seems like we are fenced in a corner. Finding the cause of your stress is the beginning of managing it. Yoga and meditation could play a big part in your life a lot of people don't get that advantage of taking the class that I got to take. I never thought it would be something I'm really into and I think it's good for you just in general I would have trouble waking up in the morning so I would sun salutations to become more attentive then at night I would focus on my deep meditation along with my heart centering to bring my energy back down. Overall I think yoga has changed my perspective on how to look at situations and how to handle them, I believe it can do anyone good in their life, it can build a positive bond with your conscience and other people.

His father was a wealthy king near the foothills of Nepal. I was predicted at his birth that he would either become the ruler of India or a very holy man in his culture. Is father preferred him to become a ruler so he kept him very isolated in a palace starting from a very young age.
However, it is related with how we manage stress and tension. Actually, stress is plainly manageable. You should manage it appropriately, so can handle it easily. You must always develop a positive thinking in your life, take care of yourselves and socialize with everybody. Try to do something that you enjoy, this can help you relax.

Inner Peace We are always in search for peace that’s why we look forward going to calm, peaceful and serene places like the mountains or any place that is rich in natural beauty. Look no further, peace can be found right within you when you do yoga at home. With yoga and meditation It’s like holiday within your reach, you can take a time off anytime of the day and calm a disturbed mind.
When exploring what is health, it looks at the idea of an individual being free from illness or injuries (World Health Organization 1948). WHO further explains that it is the state of complete: physical, mental, and social well-being and not the absence of disease or infirmity (health context, 2018) In 1986 during Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion, WHO said health is a resource for everyday life, not the objective of living, also is a positive concept emphasizing social, personal resources, and physical capacities. There are different aspects that contribute and impact a person’s health such as their: family and friends, education or job, body, spirit and mind, and all these need to balance to ensure good health (health context, 2018).
