First and foremost we wish to thank the teachers and in particular the students for their tremendous support. In preparation for putting the colouring–in-book together we have asked the schools mentioned to participate with the knowledge that it was a test for us and not for them. Most boomerangs were used throe at an enemy or prey. There are many styles of boomerangs. These were used in competition by tribes. The returning boomerang is now used competition throughout the world.

FISH (DJILDJIT)
Fishes are source of food for the Aboriginal people. They know when to hunt food by the changing of season. They used canoes, nets, fish hook and certain shrubs that they ground up. This shrub when put in the water would stun the fish. They will float to the surface where the Aboriginal people could get them. Fish hooks were made out of animal bones. The Aboriginal people also used clubs and spears to catch the fish. Fish traps were also made of rocks.

DINGO
Wild Dingo pups were taken from their mothers and were raised by the Aboriginal people, they were trained as hunters. They were used to catch kangaroos, emus, wallabies and were especially helpful in catching the smaller animals and reptiles. The dingoes would “bail up” the larger animals until the Aboriginal hunters arrived to spear them. Together the Aboriginal man and the dingo were great hunters.
Indians quickly adopted the animal as a means of transportation and to hunt more efficiently. This was transformative to Indian culture and made hunting much easier. In fact, many Indians abandoned farming to start hunting Buffalo. Prior to this, North America

Colors are often used to describe symbolism they describe the mood of the setting and they can also differentiate the rich from the poor,colors are used in different aspects to describe someone or something. In F.Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, characters such as Gatsby Nick and Daisy use colors to describe their emotion of the setting, and feelings towards each other. Colors portray each character 's emotions, setting changes, and foreshadowing future events.
For example, from the packet, Encyclopedia of Native Americans in the section about the Chinook tribe on page 1154 it states that “They caught many fish using nets and hooks and dried the meat for later use or for trade.” Also, in the Native People of the Northwest film it says that “They
They fished for mostly salmon, and collected native plants and roots like the camas bulb. “Buffalo served as the most significant source of food and raw material for the tribe 's” (History of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes). They would go around collecting foods to eat during the winter months. The Bannocks may have had to work for quite a bit of they year but they still found time to play games and have very amusing traditions.
Another feature is its beautiful aesthetic characteristics. The illustrations provide a visual aid to help create a deeper meaning of the story. The illustrator Ronojoy Ghosh, applies different visual features throughout the book. He uses specific colours to reflect the culture of each country and the landscape of the cities in Australia and demonstrates a mixture of shot distance techniques and interactions. For example, the use of burnt orange to represent the colour of the Australian outback and the uses of a mid-range shot of the Aboriginal and Australian flags on the Sydney Harbour Bridge (Callow, 2016, pp. 9-11).
Cedar plank sheds marked the graves. ”(Malinowski, Sharon and Anna Sheets, 1224) First Salmon Ceremony was also a very important ceremony to the Nisqually tribe, took place when the first fish of the season was caught. According to the tribe’s religious belief, salmon were the gift from the salmon king and were honored as if it were a visiting chief. Once the first salmon was caught, it would be brought to shore and carefully prepared and cooked.
Men would sing stomp dance songs in “callback” form, and women wore turtle shell shakers on their legs. These turtle shells represented the respect the Chickasaw had for animals, since they gave them many of their necessities. Some examples of stomp dances performed by the Chickasaw are the Snake Dance, Gar Fish Dance, and the Stealing Partners dance. In the Snake Dance, the Chickasaw would respect snakes because they were part of creation. However, they would not honor them.
The U.S. citizens were killing buffalo to feed railroad workers and to give leather to factories. Around 1 million buffalo were killed each year and soon they were dying off. In document five, it shows what each part of the buffalo was used for. It shows that the Native Americans used every part of the animals just to survive. They used it for food, clothes, shelter, and tools.
They used stone and bronze chisels. Tlachtli was a game played by the Inca. The losing team was sacrificed to the gods, as in Aztec religion. Artifacts were made out of clay pottery, gold, and other precious metals. The Inca used slingshots, arrows, and short spears for weapons.
Food -Deer had many uses, their meat is eaten fresh and smoke dried. -The easiest way to hunt seals was to sneak up on the seal that was basking in the sun. -In the summer, they would eat elk, bear, salmon or even mountain goats. -For the Haida, they would consume shellfish and sea mammals which were the staples for them.
These two types are live bait, and artificial bait. There are pros and cons to each that I will talk about. First I will talk about artificial bait. I like using artificial bait for many reasons. One of the main reasons I like using artificial bait (lures) is the amount of water that you can cover.
Analysis of The Day the Crayons Quit Physical Elements The beloved children’s story, The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt has reached classrooms and homes all over the world. The book spans 40 pages with 31 of those pages dedicated to the actual story. The story has just around 1,000 words.
Rather than using a display of colour for the simple purpose of "spectacle", colours help drive the narrative and become significant "characters" and fundamental to the development of the story, rather than just mere parts of the mise-en-scene. Out of all the people in the world who works hard, keeps every household together also the one who deserves more and beyond would of course be our mothers. As I introduce this particular book you will come to realize that a mother is an important spotlight in this book. Vera B. Williams is a phenomenal author and illustrator in the picture book A Chair for My Mother. Williams achieved a Caldecott Metal award for her great work. The characters in A Chair for My Mother are a daughter, a mother and a grandmother who save up coins for the mother that deserves all and more to get her a nice comfy yet the perfect beautiful chair in replace of her old chair that burned in their previous home.
It serves camaraderie among friends, family, and colleagues. Spending some ample time with your loved ones ensures security and general wellbeing, and makes one feel as if they belong to together. To enjoy fishing, make sure you have all the essential fishing tools such as a baitcasting rod and hooks. These tools will make your fishing experience more fun.
