2.1 Papaya (Carica Papaya Linn) Carica papaya is the main species from the genus of Carica. Carica which is comes from the plant family Caricaceae (Khan et al., 2012 & Alabi et al., 2012). It is belongs to the tropical of Americas, and it was first to growth in Mexico (Khan et al., 2012). These compounds are principally secondary metabolites. Carica papaya is a large tree with a single stem which can growth up to 10 metres. It’s consists of wide spirally arranged leaves compact to the top of the trunk. The leaves are large in size with the diameter up to 70 cm. Both leaves and stems have large amounts of milky latex. The lower trunk is the place where the leaves and fruits were borne. The flowers of papaya seem similar with the flowers of Plumeria, but it is wax-like and much smaller.
