Cebuanos migrated to Baybay Norte, Zone 6, Miagao before. The major reason of their migration is about the presence and abundance of fish in the coast of the Baybay Norte, specifically on their zone. The story was this: There was a Cebuano who came to the barangay. He lived there and his life improved well because of the abundance of fish as he works as a fisherman on the barangay. He went back to his hometown in Negros Occidental for a vacation and he shared to his friends that there are many fish there in Miagao that they can work for their job for fishing. This was the reason why there were many migrants on Baybay Norte, Zone 6, for fishing purposes. No other reasons, only fishing. The sixth zone is where the Cebuanos are living. For this instance, they are now then called Sitio Cebuano. From the word Sitio which means a place and Cebuano referring to the people who came from places that has a language Cebuano. Where it, for the two words when added, means a place where Cebuanos live. During their living, some Cebuanos already marries Karay-as that lead to the mixing of races. But commonly, Cebuanos are married to the same race, Cebuano, and Karay-as are married to the same race, Karay-a. There is certain association that the community has made. The association is called Cebuano Kapulungan. Cebuano Kapulungan is an association where everyone is helping each other. When there is someone which is a Cebuano that is admitted to the hospital, they will then help the ill person. Karay-as heard about this association and they find it very helpful so they joined the certain association for the advantage of everyone. It is really an advantage of everyone. Some might think that it’s unfair but it really is not. They should think of the idea that they are already helping people of their own
