Focusing on acknowledging and respecting customers has helped the business establish a difference for its brand. The inside of their facilities is another element that has contributed to the company's major success. Inside, Chick-fil-A's tables are constantly set with flowers and a polished welcoming atmosphere (Chick-Fil-A’s Secret to Success). Although Whataburger is loved in Texas it still competes against all other fast-food chains in the market and has a harder competition in out of state markets. Some of Whataburger’s biggest competitors are In-N-Out burger, Five Guys, McDonalds, Jack in the Box, and Chik-fil-A (“Whataburger Competitors”, n.d.). They do not compete only in financial revenue but also in areas where the public judges them like customer service, pricing, Product Quality, and Culture (“Whataburger Competitors”, n.d.). Among all these categories Whataburger continues to stay within the top five as shown in Figure 1.
